5 ️? I really did not like the shop.my membership benefit went to what? I was disappointed. I expected that the shop for such a well renowned botanical garden would have a variety of plants and also have the plants be in good health. It was quite the opposite. Many of the ferns, succulents and even bonsai were in a less than ideal state - overwatered and suffering from root rot.
Some of the none plant items seemed interesting. But +$14 for a chocolate bar? Really?
In general, please care for the plants well or train the staff to learn how to care for plants well.
Worth checking out on a visit to The Garden. They have a fun selection of gifts, apparel and Brooklyn themed merchandise for both adults and children. I wish they had more! The New York Botanical Garden shop has a far more extensive selection of books and merchandise overall.
Lovely gifts & plants, but on the expensive side as it’s a fundraiser for the BBG.

Was very nice place to visit, but a lot of too much walking for me from the subway and big place.
Decent selection of potted plants and related swag/gift items, but way overpriced.
