Olga’s lesson was truly a magnificent experience. Thanks to her warm and professional team we felt at home and well taken care of from the first moment we stepped into her stylish and cozy studio. My girlfriend and I were anxious at first as we’d only had limited experience dancing. However, as soon as the lesson took off, our worries went away, and it turned out to be one of the best things we got to do in NYC. We learned Hustle and thanks to Olga’s methods we were able to not only grasp its basics but also have a go at some more advanced spins and swaps. We finished off with a friendly conversation with the tutors, making the whole evening even more pleasant and further proving what we already knew - that this experience was really one of a kind and sure to leave a sweet and long-lasting memory.

Months later, I still can't get over how fun, cozy, and welcoming this experience was! Olga is positive, patient, and her inviting personality is reflected wonderfully in the space. The studio itself is beautiful and feels like somewhere I want to hangout even if we weren't there to dance. I was in NY for work and a friend invited me along for a Bachata class with Olga. I don't have much experience (although my partner was quite talented), but Olga was super encouraging and easy to follow. I had so much fun in that one hour that when I returned back to Maine I started Googling local dance options in hopes that there was something in town with similar calm and comfy vibes. Our wedding dance was a highlight at our wedding. My husband is a very nervous dancer and you never would have known! Olga is phenomenal at working with all skill types and adapting to the style of dance you want. Most of the other options we looked at were very lame / cheesy. Olga overdelivers.

My husband and I chose Brooklyn Dance Lessons to learn a few dance moves for our first dance at our wedding. Neither of us had any rhythm or knew how to dance. Olga was wonderful to work with. She called us before we scheduled our first lesson to discuss our experience, hopes, and goals. I had a very tricky schedule to work with but Olga was extremely accommodating. We started lessons 5 weeks before our big day and were only able to squeeze in 5 lessons (I definitely recommend taking more than 5 lessons or at least starting well before 5 weeks before your big day) but were able to learn the fox trot and various dance moves to spice up our first dance. Olga and her team were very patient with us and our lack of rhythm and coordination. Our lessons were informative, fun, and even sweat inducing! I highly recommend Brooklyn Dance Lessons. You will not be disappointed!

You can choose from a wide variety of dance lessons at Brooklyn Dance Lessons. I've done 4 popular dance styles so far and had lessons from Olga and Katarina. Both teachers are excellent! They can immediately work with whatever level you're at, and take you further at your own best pace.
For icing on the cake, everyone I've met at Brooklyn Dance has been very friendly. And that goes for my fellow students in the group classes, in addition to the very pleasant teachers.

This was an incredible experience and we'd very highly recommend. From the initial outreach on the site, Olga worked with us in setting up a convenient time and was so accommodating and communicative, even as far as giving us great dinner recommendations in the area. As beginners, we were a little nervous, but Olga was so welcoming and the studio space was immaculate. She made us feel so comfortable from the moment we walked in.and once we got started, the hour just flew by! Can’t wait to go back!

It was genuinely fun learning to dance for our wedding with Olga at Brooklyn Dance Lessons! We bought 20 sessions and walked in knowing nothing. We were rather clumsy and forgetful a lot of the time but by the end we felt so good. We had been introduced to multiple styles and found something that suited us and our song selection. It was a joy!

Olga was the best! We had no idea what we were doing when we first started taking lessons but she managed to get us whipped into shape in no time. We came in with a song in mind and she showed us various dance moves that would work well with the music, letting us choose the one we liked best. Awesome, warm experience learning a new style of dance, the Hustle. Although it was not Olga that taught me, but Katarina who is another gifted instructor in the studio. They had plenty of insight and perspective with dance, and had tons of fun doing it.

Olga helped my husband and I impress all of our family members during our first dance at our wedding - and we had SO much fun learning and dancing with her! Olga is an amazing instructor and was able to teach us dance moves and choreography we never thought we could handle with no experience. She is patient and encouraging and always made sure we were comfortable and happy with our progress. Not only was the finished dance something to look forward to on our wedding day, the lessons themselves became the best part of our wedding planning experience. We had an all out amazing experience with Brooklyn Dance Lessons. Our first dance team, Olga and Amanda, worked with us to choreograph a dance that was to our style and ability.

We took a group lesson (every Tuesday-check it out), which was super fun and then signed up for private lessons. We have friends who hated their dance lessons at other studios - for us it was the ultimate stress relief. Whenever we hit a bump with wedding planning - dance lesson. Whenever something went awry with family - dance lesson. Olga and Amanda made it so much fun to plan for our first dance. We found ourselves dancing in the park, going over our moves on the subway.in short it was the greatest joy leading up to our wedding.

We'd taken lessons with another studio before and didn't have the same experience to say the least. We truly believe that we are better dancers because of Amanda and Olga - they found ways to work with our strengths and day of we were confident and smiling. They made us look our best and we even impressed a friend or two or three.

If we could give them 1,000 stars it still wouldn't be enough!

The instructor here is amazing! We had such a positive experience with Olga. She is patient, really great at explaining everything, and we loved our lessons so much that we kept coming back after our wedding. Everyone raved about our first dance and our choreography, which Olga custom made for us, was beautiful.

I’ve been a terrible dancer as long as I could remember and was a little self conscious that I was going to have a few hundred eyes on me so we decided dance lessons were a good idea. After doing some research, Brooklyn dance lessons sounded like a great option and a convenient location. We went ahead and purchased the 5 hours of private dance lessons. After meeting with Olga our first time I was already more comfortable. Olga was extremely patient and helpful getting us to a point where the first dance wouldn’t be stressful. By the end of the 5 hours of lessons, thanks to Olga, we had a dance that together we felt very comfortable and confident doing in front of all of the wedding guests. She even instilled the confidence that one of the group dance classes at the studio sounds fun, something I never thought I would say.

We signed up for the wedding dance package at Brooklyn Dance Lessons and it was honestly one of the best decisions we could have made leading up to our wedding. Every single minute was so fun and just a great experience - Olga is the most amazing instructor, worked with us to come up with the perfect choreography, and made sure we looked great with every turn and dip! We could not have done our dance without her, were so glad to not be another couple swaying on the dance floor for our first dance, and the whole experience brought us even closer together as we learned how to navigate the moves. We kept going back for more lessons prior to the wedding because we loved Olga so much and plan on revisiting the studio now that we are married for the group nights! 10/10 couldn't recommend enough!

I signed up me and my now husband for private lessons with Olga for our first dance. It started with wanting to learn a few basic steps, and ended with a full choreographed dance.we loved our weekly "date nights" with Olga. She's a great teacher, sees your strong point and weak ones as will and gives suggestions how to improve them. I highly recommend! The studio is tastefully decorated and intimate.

I absolutely love coming to the studio! Beautiful space with a great peaceful vibe and friendly atmosphere.
Stretching is also now my new addiction. During the class, you get time to relax, explore your body through relaxation techniques and exercises that help to stretch out.
The teacher is very supportive, she looks after you and helps to improve your practice.

My wife and I took lessons with Olga to prepare for the first dance at our wedding. We enjoyed ourselves so much we ended up taking double the lessons we had planned. Olga is tons of fun, and a talented dancer and teacher. She explains things thoroughly and helped each of us with our individual strengths and weaknesses. The choreography for our dance reflected our personalities and fit our song perfectly. We can't recommend her enough!
