An awesome boutique, grocery store. Ample selection, clean and helpful. Staff pricing is in line with other such grocery stores.

Brooklyn Fare is literally the worst grocery store in all of Hell's Kitchen. It is overpriced, the produce is stale and their staff is RUDE. Save your money and go elsewhere.plenty of grocery stores in the neighborhood.

Still on TOP! Always stocked up! Like Fairway meets the healthy options of Westerly Market (Great varieties from worldwide, incl Organic & avail at worthwhile if not, at the least, comparable neighborhood pricing, etc.) ; Kind of like where Food Heaven Meets Hell's Kitchen (where also located)!

I have video of the conversation I had with management but I can't post it here. I believe they reported my last review and had it removed by claiming that I was making false claims.

I have stopped myself from giving this place a bad review since I have been coming here since it opened. However, I have had several very bad experiences at this supermarket to where I've decided I won't be returning to the store again. This supermarket places their trash on the street behind the store, which happens to be the street where I live. I have talked to them about how dirty they keep the sidewalk. Even after the most recent incident where I fell, they continue to leave trash and liquids on the sidewalk over night into the next day.

Last year I reached out to the supermarket, via email and then by calling the manager to ask them to do a better job at cleaning up the sidewalk. I have posted pictures from July 2021 through August of this year showing how they leave the sidewalk full of food and all kinds of liquids. It makes the entire street smell horrible, especially in the summer and it attracts a lot of rats to the block. Two weeks ago I was walking down the street and the manager and an employee were out there power washing the sidewalk, they coated the sidewalk in some solution and did not place any sign to warn people walking by. I ended up slipping and falling on the sidewalk, all of my clothes was covered in black liquid dirt from the mess they had left on the sidewalk. I had to throw out my new clothes and tote because they were ruined.

Back in 2019 was the first time I had a jarring experience in this store. I went twice in one day, once to get breakfast and another time to buy milk. The second time, as I left the store, I was approached by a young man I had never seen there before. I believe he is related to the owners or in upper management. He told me he had to search my bag because someone had said I had stolen a bagel. I never passed by the bakery the second time I went in so I was confused and did not allow him to search me, but I showed him both of my receipts from that day. He simply walked away after that, without an apology or even an acknowledgment of his error.

I have had other bad experiences here, and dealing with customer service has been surprisingly confrontational and/or unproductive. They don't seem to value their customers and don't make any genuine efforts to resolve matters brought to their attention, not even for a long time customer.

Such a great place with amazing produce and great sales and values. I always look forward to the new circular each week. A gem tucked away on 37th between 9th and 10th. Wonderful, friendly cashiers and helpful staff.

NOT FRESH. I tried to come here to support a small biz instead of Whole Foods, and couldn’t buy anything on my list. The produce was all way past its prime (ex. Moldy mushrooms, shriveled peppers, brown/wilted greens). I went to the prepared food section and pointed out to the employee several of the foods (ex. Pot pie) were covered in mold. Then I resigned myself to buying some nonperishables (pasta and jarred sauce) from the sale display. When I got home, I saw I was charged full price. What gives? This place is like 30% more expensive than Whole Foods and the food looks inedible. Do yourself a favor and go to Whole Foods where the food is fresher and cheaper.

From product to customer service, Brooklyn Fare is one of the best markets in NYC. I love that the market has a variety of imported products.

Well stocked and maintained store. Sometimes has good sale prices, however frequently advertises sales items that are not in stock.

Love Brooklyn Fare! It is my go-to store every week! They have a beautiful assortment of high end goods as well as the basics. The staff is so friendly and professional. I live in neighborhood so the free delivery is very convenient. AND they run some great sales on items!

I do the bulk of my weekly food shopping here. Prices are good and the produce is super fresh. There are store specials that make shopping these items great values. The variety of choice is amazing. Shopping day's dinner is always a roasted chicken and two of the deli vegetable sides. I've lived in Hells Kitchen 20+ years but only found Brooklyn Fare tucked on w37th St a few years ago.

I very negative experience at this store, and it won't be the first time. I've been a devoted customer at this supermarket since it opened a few years back. I live around the corner and don't like coming to this store anymore.some of the cashiers have been extremely rude, crude and obnoxious.just last night, my experience with cashier with the red painted hair was atrocious.horrible! I'm a 66yo disabled veteran and don't appreciate the attitude and unprofessional treatment of these awful workers. I will continue to pursue this complaint to general management.
Have a nice day.
