29When you get on call, nobody answers. Like they pick up the phone and you hear background sounds but nobody talks to you. The second time I called, they just hung up the phone. This is honestly ridiculous.
Every time I call, I keep getting hung up on. Whether it's the system doing it, or a person, I don't know. This is why I don't trust the government to run things.
I'm pretty sure their staff generally do not pick up the phone, and sometimes they either leave it on the desk or play some background music so the caller stops the call. The ombudsman need to do a bit of investigation and fire a few of the bad apples working at this site.
Sent in forms and original documents to receive new ss card in March. Thankfully I received the card within 2 weeks time. However, it is now June and I am still waiting for my original documents to be mailed back. Hilariously, DMV will not help me with a name change on my drivers license. So now I'm stuck with this whole name change process. 3 phone calls and I still have gotten nowhere. I wish people would stop using the pandemic as an excuse to not get work done. It's been a year and a half.figure it out already!
It is a waste of time to even call this place. I have been calling this place for a month about my son social security card as I haven't gotten it and he is already you month. They drop your call and when they do pick up they hang up on you. It's disgraceful.
I actually did get through on the phone. The representative was so nonchalant yet, abrasive. Very rude! If you don’t want to do your job, quit. Plenty of able bodied folks looking for work.
Horrible service, nobody ever picks up the phone. If you don’t pick up the phone how am I gonna make an appointment? I have spent hours on the phone for 5 days and no results at alllllll! I wish I could give 0 star.

The lady at window 3 “Gigi” hope spelt it right was so amazing. Never felt so calm in a government office before, this was a different experience.
It’s a breeze, nice fresh place with quick service, no waiting time, the one who help my was very friendly. I was in and out in no time. (In the few minutes that I was siting by the desk and submitting my paperwork they called out at least 20 people that came after me).
Luckily I had filled out the form before I came because I would not have enough time to fill it out. (By the time I sat my self down and took out my paperwork my number was called)

Sooooo fast! Every gov office should be this fast, the other reviews are no joke, under 10 min and I was out. No wait at 7: 20 am.
Very nice service! I was here today to make name correction and I didn’t have to wait at all! They called on my ticket a minute after I got it. I was so happy about it. The guy, who helped me was very nice and professional.

Got in and out within 10 mins everything I needed to do was taken care of within those ten minutes. Great experience, and staff are also great and helpful!
Don’t tell the feds but this place is over staffed and its amazing, cause I was in and out in about 10mins. No long lines. Clerks fast and efficient. Visits here could be done on lunch break. A surprisingly easy visit (for name change and ordering new card)
Great! I spent 5 min there, visited on Wednesday at 2: 30 pm, two people in line but there are so many windows that you don’t have to wait. Big space for waiting, many chairs and applications are provided.
Wow what a great service i didn't evan complete my application they call me at the window and there i fill up my application the lady at windows so friendly within 5 minut everything got done total duration time was 10 minut
. Initially I had very resentful not nice agent. Who looks like he hates his job and hates people. And very unhelpful.

Went to the offices on a Thursday morning at 8, registered for a new card and was done by 8: 20. Extremely friendly and patient staff, very pleased with the service here!
Very easily accessed via the 2/5 trains. Come at 7 am to wait essentially with no lines, I got my new SS card processed within 15 minutes
It was v good experience at the front desk they both are v nice and cooperative’i get The application and get the ticket when I go to window no the lady was soooo disrespectful she was v bad mood and don’t want to answer any question.
