BVG is top tier when it comes to vets. We travel from Howell NJ to have our dog treated at BVG. DR. Gambino is extremely knowledgeable, caring, professional and accommodating. Her staff is second to none and practice the same care, knowledge and professionalism. Would highly recommend them to everyone.

Been taking both my cats here for the last 3 years and only had good experiences with them! Update: another year going strong. I think they're affordable, the staff are kind, and their treatment recommendations for my cat with kidney disease have been sound.

I operated on my little dog, I felt at home, everyone was very kind and caring. I recommend it to all parents of our furry children. 10 and praise. Keep it up guys.

I have taken several dogs there dusty, then june, now cookie they all received the best care Dusty was a terrier and died at 12 but she had renal failures. June had been dropped when she was a pup and would try to avoid going down the stairs and did not go for many walks a big chow shepherd I loved but she listened to my mother that told her it was ok if she did not want to go for walks.and then there is Cookie he was given to me by my sister. He had a Hernia operation and that turned out great he was older and was neutered and that turned out great he is being evaluated today because he might have another hernia. But he always comes out great. I just wish I had taken my other dog Bridget there, although she went to good vets I should have taken her there. I always had that thought she might be here today although she could have been dead too.

We have been bringing our little yorkie to BVG since she was a baby. She was very sick with pneumonia which is very scary for a tiny little puppy and her parents. Everyone treated us with kindness but more importantly instrumental in helping Valentina heal. She is now 6 years old and thriving.

Nice doc, they really care for your pet, doc pernice is the best, spend time with you, make you feel comfortable without rushing.

Was sent away to go to an emergency room vet.receptionists unprofessional.been going to pernice forever. Not after this

When I called for the 1st time I asked the girl what the charges will be. I spent a good amount of time on the phone. I have a new dog and I need a vet she gave me all the prices and I agreed to it. When you get there they charge all these extra service charges that they never mention to you ahead of time. This has happened again today my dog goes in for the 2nd shot and again before confirming the appointment the girl gave me the price.now they tell me there is an additional charge when I specifically asked. Joanne's explanation is they must have made an honest mistake because these girls are very knowledgeable.and that I am still getting a great deal. Yeah right! I HAVE NO PROBLEM PAYING. Just train your girls to be upfront with what you will charge the pet owner and not just bill me at the end when the girls failed to tell me about it when I especifically asked ahead of time.

I hate dealing with a business that hides fees to lure you in and than makes me feel like a bad pet owner because I'm asking why there is a charge for so and so.
I asked for the person in charge they said there is no one incharge except the Dr who is attending at the momment. Let's see if they return my call.

Staff, Doctors (DR. Pernice) are all excellent! I have been going to BVG for more than 17 years and would never go anywhere else. The service and staff continue to be excellent.efficient and very pleasant.

Always a pleasant visit here Sonny is a one big mushball that is scared of everything they always make him feel comfortable. The employees are awesome and very respectful with me and Sonny (my dog) Vey clean place& are always on top of your appointments and His Vet is Great Dr Gambino. I’ve seen doctor Fio before and she was great. I’ve just seen Dr Tony and he was awesome. He was very detailed and saw me last minute which is truly appreciated. The staff are always polite and so kind with my boy. I travel an hour for our appointments because they’re the best, it’s worth it!

10000000% recommend. I had gone there once before for my senior dog, she was maybe 15 or 16 or something around the time and she had a fall. They saw her quickly and gave her what she needed. Fast forward to this year, my 18 year old girl's health just declined so rapidly overnight and we it was time to let her go. I had called another vet and the front desk was just cold and heartless. When we called BVG, the woman who picked up the phone was so warm and sweet and sympathetic given the situation, that we knew we wanted her last moments to be somewhere like this, with good people. The process was so terribly difficult but Dr. Tony and the nurse, I want to say her name was Missy, she has curly hair, made the process as painless as they could. She was such a huge part of making the process as easy as she could for us. She was so sweet. They both took such good care of us and our girl that I do not have enough nice words for them and the staff in general. I am eternally grateful to them for their kindness and patience during this devastating time. Truly, amazing people here. They sent a sweet card, they gave us things to remember her by, and we got her ashes back within a week. Thank you so much BVG staff. My family and I appreciate you more than you know. Kiki is resting easy because of you all.

I have been going to BVG for many years and I am very satisfied with Dr. Pernice and his staff. They are very friendly and caring, and my questions are always answered completely. Dr. Pernice is very knowledgeable and patient, and treats my babies like his own. Dr. Gambino is also very caring. I know my babies are in excellent hands at Brooklyn Veterinary Group.
