Went there for lunch.
Haven't been there in 3 years, and it was everything I remember it was!
Both the beer and food are delicious!
We sat outside and the view of the river was relaxing

The food was good - except for the beef, which was one of three meat items served banquet-style. The service was good - except it took noticeably too long to get our drinks delivered at one point. The atmosphere was good - except it was too hot on the second floor (riverside) with the July afternoon sun streaming through four large windows on a hot and humid day.

This place has been around for several decades and, therefore, get no pass on any of the above - these problems all should have been solved a long time ago. Ownership needs to reinvest some (more) of its profits back into the business.

Beer? Good. Food? Good! Beer pretzels are delicious. Made with their oatmeal stout so it is rich in flavor.

This place rocks! I had been hearing about Browns for years from friends in Troy but hadn't had the chance to go until last night. The food and beer were both great, and their homemade root beer was a nice treat. We had a group of six people and the service was good and very efficient, with no wait on a Saturday night. This will definitely be my dinner choice next time I'm in Troy.

Browns is fantastic. Staff is always so pleasant. Wings and chicken sandwich are incredible. Lots of beers to choose and they are all good.
Highly recommend for a quick drink or bite to eat.

I ordered the pulled pork sandwich and 4 out of the 5 first bites were just gelatinous pork fat globs. I wasn't interested in eating any more of it. And pushed the plate aside. Server asked if anything was wrong with the salad? I dunno, seems to be sliding downhill with service and quality.

Got lunch with my sister last Thursday.
We were able to sit in the sun on the back deck which overlooks the river.
Great view, great food, great service.

All around excellent place to eat or just have a few drinks. Large selection of food and drinks at a fair price. Always excellent service and there is plenty of parking nearby. We are from a couple hours away, but have eaten here several times when we visit our daughter who lives locally. Highly recommend trying it out!

The event was a memorial event, but the place, food, and staff were superb. A place for family and friends to share stories and love.

Good times at Browns. My black bean burger was dry, but the service and atmosphere was great. My daughter had the fried chicken sandwich and she didn't think it was anything great. We will go back and try something else.

Went for lunch with a co-worker. Quiet atmosphere for the lunch time, but that was perfect. The food was delicious. Would go again.

Stopped in for a beer after work, the place was very busy. I was promptly served and the beer was excellent. If you're a craft beer lover it's a must try especially with the outdoor seating overlooking the river.

Menu was incredible! Unfortunately the food wasn't. Not bad, but it didn't live up to the menu. Got a fried chicken sandwich and it was dry. Menu didn't list onions on the tacos and they showed up with onions. Beer was good but they were out of a lot of them

We wanted to try something different, and we stumbled upon this place. Sitting outside on the river was nice.

Beer was good. I liked the pretzels. There was an issue with one of our meals but it was taken care of. We would come back!

The chicken sandwich was really a treat and everything it came with was delicious. The calamari isn't something I would order again as it was tasteless and barely any calamari in the pieces. The service was quick and efficient and the atmosphere wasn't much to speak of. However, I believe they have outdoor dining in warmer weather which is probably much nicer.

Stop there with my boys while doing college tours. Great food and service. If I am back in the neighborhood, I will return.
