The Brownsville center was closed, but that area was pretty clean with activity's to get into outside; it's, park nearby has exercise bars & a "Running Track" too
people get busy using them.
An amazing center that has a pool (restricted due to COVID), weight lifting room, basketball court, ping pong table (s), and more. The staff/adults there are always willing to help you out, teach and or train you. I didn’t know how to swim and the lifeguard on duty helped me out after seeing me struggle. Ping pong players helped me to become a better player and upgraded my paddle big time. The equipment/pool/courts/gym are not the best quality but the people definitely are. The community here is much needed for eny and I couldn’t imagine it without it. Also due to everything being shut down last year due to COVID, the center has renewed my membership free of charge. This is not a good center at I don’t recommend no one come here for skating bc u will get hurt like I did and for a new card it’s 5 dollars I’m only a teenager and they charged me

Staff is rude and don't honor schedule. Had the 6 month membership and it was not worth the $65. Staff equipment doesn't work which creates staff to be frustrated.
I am in admiration with the culture there.

Mr. Child's is doing an amazing job. Please keep it up and keep that bright light shining on a community that's in dire need of it.
Great experience it was our first time visiting the facility. I signed my son up for swimming the experience great, staff was very helpful and pleasant. Officer P gave me and my son a tour of the facility and explained what was what. I told all my friends and family about the center.
I have a great experience at brownsville we play a good tournament of table tennis with a New Jersey team came to New York
They have an amazing kickboxing aerobics class every Tuesday and Thursday at 7pm. I'd rather give them my money then Blink or Planet Fitness
