Bruegger's Bagels, Rochester NY

Headed in here today as my normal Bagel Spot was closed for the holidays. It's been a while since I've been to this Bruegger's location and really any Bruegger's location. I do find it a little odd that they all have transitions to take out only as I think this would take a toll on sales as I believe a majority of their revenue would be coming from people who come in to dine. A lot of those places were usually packed and I'm sure those people spend more as they were sitting there. But now to just be take out only and to probably cut your profits in half seems a little strange. Covid definitely took a toll on everybody and it's unfortunate. The bagels were okay they did not have all the flavors that I had noticed online but that's not a deal breaker. I do wish they offered a cream cheese that was whipped. But all in all if you're looking for a quick bagel and you're in the area it's worth stopping in.

I used to work at one of the east side stores so every so often I like to go get a half dozen bagels because they freeze well. This store is pretty much just like the others. I only wish they were open an hour or two later because I work a later shift, but I understand why they're not.

Two times in a row my bagel has been messed up. I order a salt bagel with bacon, sausage, one egg, some butter and cheddar cheese. I paid for that. I received the first time a Salt Bagel with One egg, sausage and cheese. The second time I ordered I got a Salt Bagel with Bacon, one egg and cheese. I get it is early and people are waking up, but two times in a row?

Love Breuggers. The costumer service and quality of the food is always spectacular. However, I find myself stopping less frequently at all Breuggers locations because of their decision to get rid of the dine-in seating.
I realize that a lot of people order to go these days, but that is not the case for everyone. When I'm looking for a place to go out to lunch with friends or family, Breuggers is no longer the first place that comes to mind. I would like to be able to enjoy their delicious food without having to eat it in my car or take it home. I sincerely hope that Breuggers reconsiders the removal of dine-in seating, because I would certainly be visiting more frequently if there was a place for me to sit and eat. I know this is the case for several others as well.

Ordered online, will never do that again. Food took an hour to arrive, half our order was missing, there's seeds all over my plain bagel, just an absolute disaster of a location.

The manager was closing the store when I walked in. I did not realize he was closing! He was very kind and gave me what he was going to throw out, so I could still have bagels for my party! I am a customer for life!

I have been going here since they first opened. Got here at moon on a Sunday. About 8 people ahead of me in line. What a total fail and disappointment. Stood there for 15 minutes. There was still 4 people ahead of me. At the time they had 3 plain bagels left - that was all - absolutely nothing else. There wasn't anything left but plain when I got in line. Not a single fresh bagel cane out from the back while I was was there. I left at that point - there was going to be absolutely nothing left by the time I got to the counter, and there were still no fresh ones anywhere near ready. This isn't the first bad experience I've had at this store, but it was by far the worst. Still open for another 2 hours and not a single bagel to be had? If they want to stay in business, they better find some management with at least some talent. The help was tripping over each other behind the counter, yet no one could bother to have any stock made to sell? No one could have seen this as they were running out? Just totally unacceptable. Best advice is to avoid this place - I'll never waste any more of my time here ever again.

We were told to leave the store after trying to eat what we just purchased. Were told that the dining room was closed.sorry, lost our business.

Ordered food at 9: 41am, app said 15-20 minutes. Food finally was put out at 10: 30am. I ordered the pastrami sandwich, it had a single slice of pastrami, cheese, pickles and mustard. No egg, and on the wrong bagel. I never got the free coffee I got with my rewards. I don't like to leave negative reviews, but this isn't the first time, waiting over an hour for wrong food.

Im not sure why, but it would make sense if you already paid ahead online you’d expect your order to be worked on. But no, the staff working here end up prioritizing people who walk in the line first and not people who already paid. I could have just had my entire order done sooner if I just got in the line.

While standing in line waiting to order I seen a girl with a long braid in the back of the kitchen washing dishes. I was so pleased to see her cleaning them thoroughly. This made me feel very comfortable to eat here being my first time. I can tell she was actually into her job, and that she wasn’t doing a half job. I watched her for about 3 minutes doing the best that she could.

30 year customer. 2 times in the last 2 weeks I have been to the Latta Rd location. First time I ordered an Asiago Bagel, double toasted, cream cheese. What I got…. NOT toasted not even warm, very hard, 1 teaspoon of cream cheese and the bagel tasted like Asiago, Rosemary and Olive Oil. Second time same thing except no Rosemary that time.

Whats up? Why no toasting? Why so little cream cheese? Couldn’t even taste it!

I’ll try 1 more time but 3 strikes…you’re out!

At first I was kept waiting for a B. E. C.but they had realized before it took long and brought my food right out after they realized and along with a free cookie to accommodate for the wait time, Sean and his workers are a great team even when there’s lots of traffic in and out.

Grubhubbed two bagels and the time got delayed 50 min I called the restaurant explained situation the girl that answered goes yeah well we are really busy rn so idk the grub hub driver probably turned around and decided not to come in once they saw the Line she goes call grub hub. She was very rude and I told her that her Tone should probably be different working in service industry and goes okay and hangs up. I am
Pregnant throwing up hungry and have to be to work by time it’ll be delivered so maybe think about how you talk to people.
