Budget Car Rental, Scarsdale NY

Terrible service. I made reservations 3 months ago and prepaid everything yet they call you 455pm the night before I'm supposed to pick up the car (which they didn't even leave a voicemail) and won't pick up the call when I call back, then on the day of the pick up, they tell me they don't have the car. So unprofessional and so unreliable. I'm horrified and extremely inconvenienced, to which they can't and won't do anything to correct their own mistakes.

Upgraded to an SUV because they did not have desired car. Preferred a standard car. Odor from cleaning solution was pungent and lingered the entire 1 week of rental. Drop off at 5AM with no attendant in parking area, however it was convenient to park the car and drop off the key and paperwork in a drop box.

I was so happy to find them… never noticed that the local Shell had a car rental office! And half the price from the airport rental, usually it’s the other way around. The car was THE cleanest rental I have EVER had and there was a complimentary scraper for snow/ice in the back seat. The 2 guys were helpful and nice, I was thrilled to see more than one staff. They hustled with 4 customers when I arrived 8: 05. My contract said pick up time 8: 23. That is super speedy service. Thanks again for getting us on the road so quick:)

Pro-tip: the smaller local car rental places in lower Westchester do run out of cars. Best to call for availability prior to booking, but you can always wing it. They are dependent upon prior renters to return timely. Had a reservation at Enterprise on Central Ave and got a call they ran out… got to be flexible with back up plans:)

I was quoted $129 and finally ended up paying $202. The full gas tank I prepaid was never reimbursed to me even though I came back with half a tank. This was the scarsdale NY budget rental place. I tried to pay with my debit card but they wouldn't accept that either. Horrible!

Clean car inside and out my appointment was for 8: 00 to pick it up, I left 8: 06. Very courteous staff showed me around the car. Returning was no problem in and out once again. I will rent here again.

The people were very rude. Also, the car has andriod auto but the person on the register did not know why it was not working. I drove the car without being able to use andriod auto.

The staff is quick and friendly, the prices are good, the vehicles are always clean and the location is awesome! I always rent from that location. I wouldn't rent from another location at all unless it was White Plains.

The representative called me 45 minutes before my rental to let me know the vehicle I reserved was not available due to an emergency I have to reserve the vehicle. Plus the vehicle I was given had bad window shield wipers and i got caught in a rain storm and it became very dangerous for me to see while driving.

The vehicle was not clean at the time of pick up. During pandemic everyone wants a clean car and surprisingly I came to know at the time of returning that the contract issued to me was for some other car. The return location guy amend it but took time.

The customer Rep.was very pleasant, accommodating and helpful. Also the prices were really good.
