16Went for thundercat concert. 10 dollars to park but no parking staff to leave. Barriers in place made it so there was no way to exit the majority of the lot and people had to get out of their cars to move barriers. Saw hit and run accidents and am sure some people will be waiting to leave for many more hours. If you want to see someone on tour, see them somewhere else.
After a less than stellar 1st experience i decided to try them again. BIG MISTAKE. The young lady delivering our food to the table was extremely rude, my Jack Daniel's Chicken Sandwich was DRY as the sahara, after waiting an extended time to get both my drink and entree my drink was wasted down and WEAK. I had to go someplace else to get the dinner I came here for. I will NEVER come back here for food.
The process was perfect entering the venue from parking ($10 per vehicle) to ticketing. Both food and beverages came out quickly and were semi reasonably priced when compared to other venues. They have an outdoor patio where one could get air or smoke during the concert. The bathrooms were clean from the beginning to the end. They had limited seating at tables available. There also were several pin ball machines and other prize machines. Overall a very cool place. We will definitely go back and check out the outdoor activities that they have.
I went for a special event that was for families they’re sound system was so loud that with the band playing you couldn’t hear anything and their bathrooms have the kala care stickers on the door but no changing tables I will not be going back and would not recommend to any parents with kids in diapers
This place is usually a good time but last nice weekend of the year, they closed the entire facility for a private party on the weekend? I hope they paid a lot for this party because they easily lost a TON of money from other patrons. Embarrassing.
I came to riverworks just this Friday Sept 9th to zipline with a friend visiting from NYC and it was amazing overall. I want to give great credit to the two guides that accompanied us. A super special shoutout to Mack and Gabe. They were great. Fun, accommodating, professional, and most importantly, safe! I was made to feel comfortable even with my nerves kinda going a little crazy. I think really their confidence in the situation definitely helped. We did get a couple pics and videos although they told us our phones could def drop but that was at our own risk. The restaurant was not a very busy (I think due to the fact that a big festival was going on the very next day there) which actually an advantage. Very easy to get a table and sit by the water. We did enjoy pretty good food (I had smoked mac she ordered chicken wings) with great service (our server was extra prompt and professional) and from all the staff at riverworks! Food prices are steep at "The Ward" restaurant but I did not mind splurging after the zipping experience since ziplining was a very surprisingly good price in my opinion!
Was there for vehicles for vets, I really only ate the Mac n cheese bites they were pretty good. I can't comment on the rest of the food really. It's a big venue, and there are always multiple events going on at one time.
Over sells concert tickets so good luck finding a parking spot if you plan on coming 1 hour before the show
Food was expensive, nothing was open or going on. Suggest to only go during season versus off season
Atmosphere is great but that doesn’t mean anything when the employees literally forget your order and you’re waiting for 15 mins only to hear oh I’m so sorry we’ll get started on that…. There was only 3 other people here. Don’t waste your time. Also the caramel macchiato had zero coffee in it
I’ve been here twice in the past week, I love it, fast service and friendly atmosphere. I love the outdoor dining! And not crazy expensive! I love this place and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area
Attended Music Is Art festival and the place is fantastic. I've been here on other occasions, the food is delicious and the service is exceptional.
I couldn't even tell you how many shows I've been to in my life. But this was THE worst experience I've ever had. Also first time ever seeing a show at this venue. I got turned around from my friends leaving and I stopped in the tunnel to make sure they were with me. Apparently all 5 ft and 100 pounds of me was a major threat because I had two different security guards physically grab me, man handled me and take me out.for absolute no reason, everything was calm up until that point. Never been treated so badly in my life, they yelled at me and wouldn't even listen to what I had to say. I often hire security teams for work so I get how it goes, but these guys were major power trip vibes. Now I have major bruises on both my arms, so thanks for that thankful for the sweet group of people who witnessed it and comforted me after to make sure I was okay
When I first tried to make a reservationon on line for kayaking.it kept telling me Error 404.so I called, and that was a fiasco trying to get a hold of someone. I finally got a hold of someone made my reservation and I was set. Great concept easy accessS.and enjoyed my paddle. When I came back early from my paddle I had to whistle to grab someones attention to help me get out of the boat. Someone did finally come. There were THREE young men sitting on their phones on thier red pod. I went up to them asking where the restroom was? Still on there phone they pointed saying that way. Well that does a lot of good. Get OFF YOUR Damn phone. I walked around and finally found it. No signage to direct customers.
We had a surprise birthday party there, approximately 50 people Riverwoods did very nice job of service, food, and the place has alot to offer
Took our Granddaughter there had a great lunch played some pinball and discovered a VR PLAYLAND ITS AWESOME.
