Buffalo Tap House

This place let my Princess in so its a win WIN! Great classic neighborhood bar atmosphere and Fran handles the crowd like a pro! Working kitchen with small me menu of traditional bar eats!

First time buying food from this place never even been inside I was overcharged for something that I didn't even get then I was charged gratuity. I'm mad that I even got to give a star but this is unfair how they charge gratuity and I didn't even dine inside never again!

People in Buffalo party! Fair good tavern.decent selection of beers. But the urinal in the men's room was full up with a previous patron's stomach contents! And, last call in Buffalo is 4! They shut down @ about 12: 30! The street life out front was extremely lively!

Especially friendly little bar in downtown Buffalo off Chippewa Street. Very friendly staff. They make you feel right at home. It all starts when the bouncer shakes your hand and introduces himself when you enter! The food here is fantastic! Great selection of tap beers as well.

Bartender was very nice, the drinks were great, the vibe was good & I know it's weird to some but I like that they make women feel "safe" with their bathroom key policy. Only 4 stars because it's tiny (ESPECIALLY the bathroom) but overall, I had a good experience!

A great hole in the wall. Traveled from Toronto to go to a concert next door at Rec Room. Went here after & there was plenty of space indoor & outdoor. Also had a jukebox which is always a hit! Friendly staff & locals. Full of personality. I didn't catch the doormans name but he was awesome & very entertaining. Fran the Bartender was fun, polite & helpful. Very welcoming for out of towners. Just went for drinks & the service & atmosphere made us feel like we got even more than our monies worth. Hole in the walls are always the best experiences

Awesome food, I love Pizza Logs, and pretzel bites, and they have a great menu with great options! The atmosphere is rustic as are most pubs/taverns. There wasn't a wait staff, so we sat ourselves and ordered with the bar tender. We will dine here again

There was one bartender and one cook. We waited over an hour for food that we ordered. When the food did come, she brought over two of our meals but our friend had to stand at the bar to point out that his food was sitting on the other side. Food was decent for bar food but not worth the wait. One friend said the nachos were not good, however, but we were hungry.
Beer was okay but honestly was a little warmer than anticipated.
Could be good but severely understaffed and mismanaged.

As a bartender there's no better place after work for a cold high life n a good tequila

Cool, local sports bar. Atmospheric, cold beer. Great place to have a snack, beverage, and good conversation.

Went to this establishment for the first time last night. We decided to stop in for a few drinks and dinner before a show next door at RecRoom. The bar tender was very polite and attentive. He noted that all orders need to be placed at the bar for drinks and food - no problem at all. Some of the beers I tried to order weren't on tap yet, but that's just due to some issues with Untapped I believe (their in house drink menu was updated and accurate).

The beer was cold, glasses clean and seemed to be fresh and clean taps!

The food was great! I ordered wings (hot), my wife ordered a chicken finger salad and our friend ordered beef on weck. The wings were fantastic! Some of the best I've had for sure! My wife enjoyed her salad and our friend enjoyed her beef on weck.

The rest room and establishment was clean overall!

A wonderful experience and I'll definitely have to comeback at some point!

Friendly and fresh people. Bartender? She is the most sweet person. We had a lots of fun up there.

My friend and I came to Buffalo for two nights to visit an old work buddy. We got here Friday afternoon and kept asking around for a place that made you feel at home. After dinner on Friday and a few attempts at other bars, we came across the Buffalo Tap House. After going to the UB - Coastal Carolina game this was where we only planed on going. Stephanie is amazing.

It was my first time in downtown buffalo. They have really nice selection of beers. It's not a place for youngster's.

You saved our eve for my daughter's birthday the high end restaurant canceled our reservations and you were not fancy but we had the time of our life thank you so much

So much fun, met some great people, loved the bartender, he is so funny, just a cool bar️?
