6Went for a job interview, 2nd interview with a company tomorrow. Pray I get the job.
Small museum about the 400 plus year history of the Brooklyn Navy Yard. You will be pleasantly surprised.
A great history of the Bklyn navy yard and history of Bklyn it self. If you like war time and maritime history this is a small but nice place to see, hear, and read up on the bklyn Navy yard. Well done displays, video, and reading.
This free museum walks you through the history of the Brooklyn Navy Yard from its original intention (as a navy yard) to its current status as an industrial park. I walked through everything in about two hours.
A real hidden gem of a museum that is FREE to the public. This showcases the Brooklyn Navy Yard's Past, Present, and Future vision. The expertly crafted exhibits are very cohesive and showcase a variety of different stories and perspectives. The historical exhibits are very detailed with good 3D models to allow you to zoom in to the past. Highly highly recommend checking this out if you're nearby.
Great historical place to visit, the museum takes you on a trip down memory lane of the creation and progress of Brooklyn Navy Yard. They also have tours that you can arrange online.
