Buon'Italia reviews
11I was on Monday September 26 at 2.30 pm. The person who attends in the background in the pasta part attends very reluctantly and very unfriendly. Very rich pasta.
Had high expectations from a fresh pasta place in Chelsea market but average at best with poor customer service, better to visit another place around the corner
After being a regular clients for a few years and recommending Buon’Italia.
I am disappointed and upset. The service was rude, the quality of the products has declined and the prices have gone up.
Terrible. Online the store says it closes at 9. I arrived at 7: 53. I was denied service and was told they were closed.
Really disappointed with the online purchase experience. Four days passed after my online order without receiving any tracking information, so I called. Explained that the delay in shipping meant that the product wouldn't reach me in time before I leave home for the holiday (even though I'd payed for expedited shipping). Person on the phone wouldn't let me change the delivery address (to where I'd be for the holiday), pay for even faster shipping, or cancel my order. Had the website explained the extended handling time, I would have paid for the fastest shipping option or just ordered the products from another company. I know it's the holidays and things are crazy for many retailers, but at least be upfront and transparent that it'll take five days to ship your order after purchase!
Wanted to love this place, but treatment by woman at checkout pretty much guarantees my first visit = final visit. After all, there's no shortage of Italian food markets in NYC! I imagine she's over the tourist hoards?
Brilliant coffee at great prices - as if it was straight from Italy! They also do Latte Art
Avoid. We were directed to this place by upstairs staff.
Rude workers.
TERRIBLE ravioli.
Watch how they prepare your hot food.
Expensive and a small portion.
I mentioned it was meager but woman couldn't have cared less.
Quality and service have rapidly deteriorated here. Used to be fab - but quality of cheese has gone far, far down.
I kid you not the only source of whole licorice root not from China in the entire US. Luckily they ship so it was possible to get it from outside of NYC.
