Burd Physical Therapy Pittsford reviews
18 The easiest 5 out of 5 stars ever. Within the first few minutes I knew I was in the right place. Jen is gracious and accommodating as office manager. She sets the good energy of the space as soon as you check in, and just today she even thoughtfully reached out to offer a shift in my appointment when there was a timeslot that worked better for my schedule.
Maureen is clearly super knowledgeable at her craft. She walked me through what she suspected was going on with my hand/forearm, and I felt immediately so much better and actually hopeful that there was a path towards healing. We keep building more exercises into my routine and I can tell progress is being made. Anybody would be lucky to work with her and I truly feel in good hands (pun very much intended).
I’ve often viewed physical therapy as an arduous part of the healing process. The folks at Burd in Pittsford are a welcoming bunch making my regular visits a delightful experience. From office staff to therapists, I genuinely appreciate their ongoing professionalism and great attitudes.
Highly recommend!
Exceptional office staff, Jen by name and even more, my P T, Megan is personable alongside her expertise as evidenced by my progression. Not only do I feel progress happening from visit to visit, I also sense her thinking through what needs to be done next; she talks with me easily explaining procedures to me at my level of understanding. She works with me beautifully giving direction for me to be able to do my part to help her help me. She easily answers my questions proving not only her knowledge but explains in a way indicating she is in tune not only to my medical needs but allows me to relax mentally and physically into the prescribed procedure. I’ve never known her to be anything but considerate in her step by step plan for healing and all staff make me feel welcome when I walk in the door. It is a healing atmosphere!
I am 44 year old female that was very active and did not like to sit still. At the end of February of 2023 I woke up unable to stand or walk or pretty much do anything from the waste down confined to a wheelchair. After spending time in the hospital I was advised to contact PT. I called a couple office where I was turned away or booked out a few weeks. I was told by a close friend to call Burd so I did. The second I called the office I felt a warm presence and was paired with Megan G. A few days later I had my first appointment and as helpless and vulnerable I was, Megan made me feel welcomed and comfortable along with the fact I didn’t think I would laugh at every appointment but we do. All the questions I asked were answered and if she did not know the answer she would look it up or ask her co- worker Alison for some advice. These girl work so well together and they never would say “ I’m busy, or she is not my patient. ” They will never allow any unsafe transfers and will always have your safety as their main concern.
Fast forward to today I am 80-85% recovered and able to actually stand/walk and feel normalish again. With my diagnosis I was told this could be a long journey but I feel that I have come an extremely long way in less time than expected. I thank my recovery on megan and the staff everyday and would/ have strongly recommend Burd to everyone.
You are in great hands here and you are treated like a family member with every hurdle you surpass.
I’m not sure how much they know I appreciate them but there are no words to explain it.
Amazing staff! Super caring and gentle and understanding to your progress and comfort levels!
I just found out I have arthritis in both my knees and I almost got into an accident trying to figure how to go into the place
Screw that I'm taking my money elsewhere
Allison has been amazing in helping my 13 year old after an injury from hockey. He enjoys coming to Burd Physical Therapy. He is even stronger than before the injury. Everyone is always accommodating and very kind! Thanks Allison and Burd PT.
Burd is such an amazing caring environment. I definitely have felt better mentally and physically since starting PT here
Megan was great, she got me to the point I could get into a Pilates reformer program that was recommended by my doctor. I frequently go back for any lower back flare ups. Thanks Megan and BURD physical therapy!
Came into Burd (Pittsford) with severe lower back/hip pain. Dr. Garofalo conducted a through evaluation and provided me take-home exercises and stretches that helped to strengthen the affected areas and treat pain within days. Great experience with extraordinary results — highly recommend!
The best! Call Jen today & book your appt! I've been working with Megan for several months on a really bad Left knee & back issues! She kept me out of the hospital one day working on my back! The Staff & environment are top notch! 5️
Thanks!
The staff is very professional and make you feel comfortable. I like the therapist I am working with she is very understanding. My therapist is Allison she is great
They've been nothing but helpful amd extremely patient and kind throughout my healing journey. I would absolutely recommend them to other people, and I would come again.
It has been my great good fortune to have been a patient at Burd PT both before and after my total knee replacement surgery. As soon as you walk in the door, you can feel the positive, encouraging atmosphere. Jen and Frank in the office are friendly and helpful. My therapist, Brie, is both highly competent and very kind, and has a great sense of humor, all of which help in the healing process. She is an excellent teacher who truly listens and goes the extra mile to thoroughly answer her patients’ and her interns’ questions so they can improve. And speaking of interns, the past several weeks Brie has been supervising Lexi from Nazareth College. I have been impressed by Brie’s tutelage of her, and by Lexi’s skill and desire to expand those skills and apply all she’s learning for her patients’ benefit. Her manual massage has been a game changer for me. My thanks to everyone there.
I went to Burd Physical Therapy in Pittsford for bicep tendinitis and everything about the location and treatment were amazing! The facility was very clean and the staff and PT’s were all amazing. They helped me recover from my injury and I would definitely recommend this place to others.
I have been to a few other places and was rushed and timed or left to do a few stretches and completely forgot about I honestly had no motivation left to go but I said I'll give it one more shot let me tell you this is the place to be I am motivated I am improving and I actually want to go. I love my girl Megan!
I’ve had an amazing experience! Such great care and staff is very personal. Couldn’t recommend them more.
I came to Burd Physical Therapy in Pittsford during a time when I was having two hip replacements. Jen at the front desk was very accommodating to my schedule and she always smiled and helped me with checking in. Allison did my physical therapy, helping me to get stronger so that I would be able to return to the pickleball courts in a healthy and strong way. My general experience with Burd PT was that the environment was very friendly. You could tell with how the staff treated each other as well as their patients. There was a family feeling when I went there. Allison had a fondness for cute, little dogs and Briana helped me with my posture. Megan and Maureen were cheery and welcoming. All in all I highly recommend Burd PT.
