Excellent experience. Very respectful and friendly staff will take your coat and offer various hot and cold drink options while you're waiting and during your appointment. I had the Liscio Japanese straightening process done here (a return visit). It comes out amazing. I have very curly hair naturally, but after this process, it's perfectly straight and requires little more than a quick brush in the morning to retain that look. The process is hard on your hair, so you want to use an experienced professional to get it done. Butterfly Studio Salon has you covered here.

Love this place. Raul R does amazing highlight job. Thank you. Clean salon. Great staff. No surprises that they are busy. Diverse staff. Owner knows how to run a quality salon.

I would give the experience zero, if I could. All of this comes down to who is at the helm of the salon. The manager has a bad attitude towards service to the clients and it permeates all throughout the establishment. Not only is the service non-existent, the manager dismisses customer's concerns, the salon is dirty. I personally witnessed cut-hair (like 2-3 inches chunks) at the bottoms of stations - what happened to the salon? If the manager is unwilling to listen to the customers, - of course, no wonder why this salon is on its way down. My hairstylist, and I'm being kind by not mentioning her name. She cut for 10 minutes, washed my hair for about 7 minutes, and dried my hair for about 10 minutes. When I expressed the strangeness of my bangs, she dismissed it, just as the manager did. All this for $160+tip. This salon once was good, I suppose, but without the manager who cares about the salon's clientele, you would have spent a lot of money with terrible service and a bad hair cut. I do not recommend this salon. Take your money to a salon where the stylists care about how your hair looks, and the management has your satisfaction at heart. This is definitely not that place.

Dealt with Tessa at front desk when paying for haircut. Tessa possesses zero customer service skills & is rude. When you speak with her it’s as if she is doing you a favor by having you pay upwards of several hundred $$ at checkout. Appalling she is actually working with clients.
Have noticed customer service decline at this salon for several months now but this one was definitely the worst experience.

Stellar work by Anderson and Tedrick for an important photo-op for my teen daughter. So professional and patient and were so expert in everything!

I found out about the salon through Tik Tok. From the moment I walked I was treated beautifully. I was 30 mins early however was taken in right away by Jessica (which she did a single process) very sweet girl the conversation throughout the coloring of my hair was great as well. She explained to me the levels of dark hair to ensure I received what I desired (I was going dark from a ashy blonde balayage). From there I went to Juliana she did my haircut, it was another great experience. She cuts hair dry (first time for me, but i trusted her) she took of length and weight off my hair. Both of them recommended hair products that will help my hair. Overall, a 10/10 experience. This salon will definitely be my salon.

I followed Anderson Le from his previous salon and always a great experience at Butterfly Studio Salon. I've had color done by both Raluca and Kim and both were excellent. Everyone is friendly and professional. Have been going here for years and always leave feeling pretty and pampered.

Dana is amazing! I have been going here for years and my hair has never looked better. Tara is also fantastic colorist. Very lovely salon.

Excellent color from Alejandro, who got rid of the unnatural orange color I walked in with and made my hair look (and feel!) wonderful. He's patient and a wonderful conversationalist to boot!

I was very pleased with the service I received at Butterfly Studio Salon. The owner stayed late to give me a cut! I loved the cut and he did not rush through, he took his time and blew it out and then styled it!

I was called the day of my appointment asking me to come in early for a consultation. When I told them I could be there 10min before my appt.they continued texting me asking for pictures if I couldn’t come in prior to my appointment then told me that they can see I was down for a service that they to not even do. This completely screwed up my schedule and I did not get the feeling that they cared. Said sorry nothing they can do. This place is seriously lacking customer service skills which is one of the reasons why I stopped going there in the first place. I should have known better then to try it again.

Clean and beautiful space in fun neighborhood. I did a haircut with Emily and I explained to her how I like to wear my hair and she did an amazing job! I’ve been getting compliments on my hair and really appreciate Emily’s attention to detail!

I went to Butterfly Studio Salon after a trip to another salon where I ended up blonde after asking for a brunette-copper balayage. I was able to book an appointment same day to come in and get my hair colored by Joanna and she absolutely nailed a brunette look that made me so much more comfortable than what I had walked in with. Everyone that I came across at the salon from Joanna to her assistant to Miranda who blow dried and styled my hair to the wonderful folks at the front desk were thoughtful, fun, and accommodating and made me feel special. I can't wait for my next appointment, it's safe to say I've found my new go-to salon!

Absolutely beautiful salon. Everyone who works there is so talented, professional, and friendly. I was looking for a big beautiful bombshell haircut with layers and face framing and she way exceeded my expectations. Her assistant Kelly did my hair treatment and she was so fun and made the process a breeze. Highly highly recommend!

Absolutely amazing. Jessica was my hair colorist and she was phenomenal. I have dark Asian hair but needed classy highlights that are notable but not too light. She was amazing! Emily then styled my hair in loose waves and it was so good! Thank you ladies!

I have naturally thin hair and since going with my natural color, white, a few years ago, couldn’t find anyone who didn’t make me look like an “old lady”. Saw Angie and I LOVE LOVE LOVE my new cut.

It's my first time leaving a review of a business. I had a good experience the first time I went in to get a haircut and highlights, so I booked another appointment. Unfortunately, I had a health emergency and had to call to reschedule my appointment 2hrs in advance. I understand this is not good for the business, but emergencies happen. I was told by the manager that I would be charge half of the services costs ($250) for late cancellation. This came as a big surprise as I wasn't warned about their 24hr cancellation policy when I called to make the appointment and they didn't asked me for credit card info either, so they must have had it on file from my first visit (without my consent, very unprofessional). Yes, Covid has put a lot of stress on hair salons, but these have also been difficult times for everyone. I would have expected a little bit more sympathy and understanding.
