Byrne Dairy and Deli reviews
23I worked there for only 3 days and ended up quitting. Honestly the worst management I've ever dealt with. I was not trained properly for the job, my co-workers could be rude at times, and they didn't even bother telling me things that I should have known on the first day of my job. There's a reason why they always seem so understaffed and and busy. Because they are. They can't keep anyone and everyone ends up quitting from how bad it is there. I don't even want to shop there anymore if I'm being honest.
It's been years since I have been back to CNY I can honestly say that Byrne Dairy milk and stores are the best anywhere
Use to be great with friendly staff and good fresh food.
Recently though it seems they have hired an entirely new staff who aren't personable and the food quality has dropped dramatically.
Some locations have 24 hour food service. Foods good, gas has competitive prices for members. Very good ice cream.
Love this Byrne Dairy because of the employees. Kyara and Tyler went above and beyond to make burgers and find anything else I needed to complete my purchase. These two employees deserve to be recognized because they are so young but have a very mature and professional understanding of customer service.
I stopped first at thre Lamson Rd location to grab a quick lunch - it's closer to my home than this B'ville store - but no one wanted to wait on or acknowledge me there so I went the extra 6 miles, passing my home, to get a simple chicken salad sandwich n chips.
Immediately I was asked how I was and if is like a sandwich. The young man was very polite, great at making a tasty sandwich (so I gave him a $2 tip) and clearly has a great comradery with his coworkers.
I get people are doing crazy stuff to service employees these days; but there is a stark difference between the two stores.
Skip Lamson and come here for the best deli to go! And a bright, friendly staff who appreciate you stopping in!
People serving food and at the cash register are wearing their masks under their noses so that they are breathing germs all over the food they are selling!?
I visited this Byrne Dairy store on 83 East Genesee St in Baldwinsville on May First at @ 10: 30 and today May 2nd at 12: 00 and noticed the manager was serving 2 customers on the 1st and 2 customers on the 2, whom DID NOT Have the required nose/mouth coverings!
Customers were not challenged when entering the store Without Required Masks.
I also had a female employee cash me out on the 1st who DID NOT have her mask on!
I asked her about it, and was told she was about to leave for the morning, (she did put the mask back on when I challenged her as to violating the Governor’s Order.)
Her manager was making pizzas at the time.
I worked in the medical field for 6 years as a
P-Medic. This is non enforcement and not being monitored by Byrne Dairy staff and Management, a poor choice and sending a Don’t Care attitude to the public and its customers!
I got a small icecream in a cone and it was very close to the size of a GOLF BALL with a hollow cone. I'm scared to know what the baby size looks like. I suggest going to Sunshine down the road instead.
83 E Genesee St, Baldwinsville, NY 13027. There is a older lady that works at the register. Today for example at around 11am. I bought something from bakery case and then I was going to get a sandwich and I could see her stare straight at me. She looks as thought though I was going to steal the donut! It scared me from buying a sandwich. I just paid for my donut and walked out. I'll most likely won't go back.
This Byrne Dairy is my go-to for gas! They are easy access to drive in and out right on my way to work. They also have really good sandwiches and ice cream! 10/10 would recommend
Very upsetting that they do not serve soft serve ice cream after October. Me and my friend would go there all the time and get soft serve because it was the best, but now after returning from college it is very disappointing to find that they no longer serve it. Please do better!
We called ahead and ran in last minute and the wonderful woman there, Tina, waited to clean the ice cream machine so we could get some soft serve! This was on the last night of my trip to New York, and we don't have the same style of soft serve down in Texas where I'm from. Tina totally made our night and gave us amazing customer service- it is clear she loves serving and does a great job putting smiles on her customers' faces!
We go to Byrne dairy for ice cream, they have the very best ice cream. We LOVE cotton candy flavored ice cream in a waffle cone. Also milkshakes of any number of varieties. You can also get gas and convenience store groceries as well as oil and washer fluid. Great place to shop!
Food is good staff is friendly but it is always a long line and they always seem to be understaffed one person will be scooping the ice cream making the sandwiches and doing the cashier. Not very professional
It's a gas station/convenience store and a pretty nice one at that. Fresh coffee and donuts in the morning, lunch specials every day, huge deli sandwiches, fresh pizza and i e cream and milk shakes. Call your order in ahead of time so you don't have to wait.
Free coffee Tuesday with a Byrne mug how can you go wrong. Good subs great chocolate milk best in world.
Staff is always friendly and prices are good overall. They carry a nice variety of other items too. It is a popular stop so there's sometimes a significant wait
Ice cream is great and dairy products the same but the customer service really needs to step up their game. Everytime I go there I get high Rollin and rude, almost obnoxious behavior.
This is an excellent store to get your gas, get your last minute grocery needs. But it is the greatest little ice cream shop if your heading from Bville to Plainville, Meridian or Cato! Don't miss this on your way out of town on 370! We stop often for ice cream!
