Cafe Grumpy - Park Slope reviews
17My favorite coffee in NY! Their heartbreaker coffee beans are delicious, and I love their logo
Solid cappuccinos with pro baristas — coffee tasted.have a great patio roll for chilling too
My latte was done very well with great milk texture and balanced coffee flavors. Cool vibe atmosphere with friendly staff.
Stopped in here for a latte and a chai latte. Both were delicious, piping hot and made quickly. What more can you ask for when you just want to grab a quick drink to stroll with?
I love cafe grumpy coffee and am a huge fan of their pastries, but today they denied me use of their restroom, first lying that they didn't have one, despite being a paying customer, pregnant, and in distress, and I think other people should know that they did that.
Today I had the best ice coffee (ever!) made with Heartbreaker Expresso, honey, oat milk and a generous amount of cinnamon. I use Heartbreaker Expresso in my Breville Expresso Maker with a small slice of orange peel/Oatly oat milk, and cinnamon, and it's just fantastic! Stocked up today on my favorite Expresso.
The best coffee in Park Slop, in my opinion. I been visiting this location for several years now and the coffee is consistently excellent.
I visited from California and wanted some great coffee, this place delivered an incredible iced mocha that was so tasty. It was hands down the best iced mocha I have ever had. I would love to visit again in the future!
Very nice small coffee shop. The coffee is good and the staff is great.
No restroom in the shop.
Great espresso coffee options. They have some outdoor seating on the side of the street too, and the service is quick if you want to take it to go. Their vanilla latte was the perfect level of sweetness (not too much like Starbucks) and the croissant was good too
It’s a small coffee shop, super good coffee though. You’d miss them if you weren’t looking for it but definitely worth a stop in park slope. The staff is really nice as well, I’ll be back when I’m in the neighborhood but the coffee is a bit on the pricey end.
I rarely write negative reviews, but I had such a negative experience with the barista, Sam. I had to order four drinks, but after I ordered three, Sam told me that I needed to pay TWICE before I was done. After I ordered three, she started slamming cups and the espresso machine before I was done ordering. I’ll quote, “I’ll say it for the second time, please tap your card, ” when I said I was not done. I understand it may have been a hard day, but the rudeness and slamming of the cups is not appropriate.
Best iced mochas in the neighborhood yummy. Also tried the gingerbread iced latte the other day and it was out of this world! The staff are super friendly, efficient and amazing baristas:)
The lattes were careful crafted with good espresso, & the blueberry muffin was delectably moist, filled with blueberries in a perfect crumb-to-berry ratio, & faintly redolent of cinnamon, maybe? Anyway, first time I've ever had a muffin that was simultaneously comforting & intriguing.
Good coffee but very expensive. Service can be a hit or miss. I once got a very nice lady. Another time I got a guy who made conversation with every other customer but me. Not sure if I had an RBF that day but made me feel excluded.
This is definitely one of the better cafe's I've been to. Amazing staff and just a nice place to relax.
I was highly disappointed by the matcha iced latte. For a unreasonable high price ($7), it did not taste great at all- and thats coming from someone who isn’t picky- If I wanted a decent matcha latte and had to pick between here and dunkin, I would go to dunkin probably wouldn’t go here again
