Their macchiatos are really great and the espresso is delicious. The strawberry margarita is awesome! Love the vibe of this place. Can tell that they redial their espresso machine frequently!

A Greenwich Village historic coffee house. If you like funky and old charm, this is the place for you. Plus their coffee and pastries are divine.

It was my favorite place, but not anymore. Food was really bad, tiramisu and coffe was ok (they had the best coffee in town). I’m very disappointed

I walk pass a lot but never have a chance to try it until now and I completely love it! Definitely would recommend to stop by and have some delicious dessert

Stopped to get hot drinks and a quick nibble before dinner in the village. Service was quick, my Chai Latte was perfection. The cheese plate we ordered was huge, we could finish it.

I have never in my life waited a whole hour just to be served mediocre food. The server seemed dead. The boss sits around, does nothing, and looks at everyone with an attitude. I don’t even know how this place has so many good reviews. This is definitely the worst cafe I’ve been to in NYC.

The most disgusting service I’ve had, in all of NYC. Kept staring at us every time they walked past, with nothing further. We ended up leaving after 20 mins of asking for coffee with no reply.

I do not care that it was a busy Saturday night, you are a NY institution. Keep it that way.

Where the first cappuccino was sold in US. And across the street is where author Louisa May Alcott lived.

This place is very cozy and warm. Nice to go in for a coffee. The food is good but not great. This place would be better for coffee and quick bites. Nice ambiance though.

Cute little coffee shop but I would stick more to the coffee. The food was okay, more mediocre. There cappuccinos are amazing!

This place is a local institution. The founder brought cappuccino to the US over a century ago. All of the hot beverages are top notch. The pastries are delicious and the pasta dishes, all with sauces made from scratch, are exquisite. Last but not least the ambiance is really unique and special. Here’s to another 100 years!

Old time bohemian lefty Expresso cafe. Framed picture of Karl Marx hangs on the wall. Place is the same for the past 60+ yrs. Never renovated!

Great place to have a cup of cappuccino and cake! A bit noisy but great atmosphere.

It’s always nice service.

It's fantastic place with piece of arts on the wall, excellent music, very nice neighbourhood! I am sorry but the restroom was horrible! Dirty, disgusting.such a shame.

Supposedly where cappuccino was first introduced to America! Interesting decor with a Rembrandt and other Renaissance art around. Renowned for a scene from the Godfather series. Make sure to also have a go with the desserts.

Needed a late sunday night spot to attempt to hammer out a piece of a whitepaper by Monday morning. Open late would be cool too, and having a drink or two would make it perfect. Boom. This is a dream come true. Sunday night wine bottles 1/2 price. What? Awesome. You can only stay as long as your laptop or phone battery allows (no outlets), read up on Ballmer Peak for more info
