I get the beef and lamb shawarma platter and it's always excellent. The ingredients always taste, look, and smell fresh. The food is consistently great!

Tried this because its open late. Its the best shawarma I've ever had and I have tried quite a few places. Will definitely be back.

I thought the other reviewers might have been exaggerating but this may indeed be the best chicken shawarma pita sandwich I've ever had. The chicken was perfectly seasoned and tender, salad was fresh, the sauce was really tasty and the pita bread was so good I'd have almost been as happy to just eat that by itself. It's a must-try for locals and I'll also be recommending friends from further away to come try it.

One of my best experience to have a Halal food from this truck. I really recommend it to anyone looking for delicious, nice and clean. They will not make you feel disappointed.

This truck smells amazing all the time. Makes me super hungry. I finally gave it a shot and I think this was the best chicken shawarma pita I've had out of all NYC food trucks. I would even go as far as say ever. I had the white sauce and the hot sauce. Both we great and the combo is on another scale. The hot had a kick which I loved. The meat took me to flavor town and all the fresh veggies put this over the top. Friendly and smiley guys in the truck. Great price. Solid value. You won't be disappointed if you come here. I'll be back.

This truck is no joke. Not only do they have the standard shwarma/falafel thing going on, they will (with enough notice) cook you lamb chops, I think they even have steak! They also have dessert, rice pudding with pistachio (a combo made in heaven, but they also have it without nuts) and baklava.

And as a lover of spicy halal food, beware, their harissa is not to be trifled with. Seriously. When they first opened up i asked for extra, and they may have taken that as a slight and the next time I went I payed the piper. Niw i ask for it on the side. Still friggin delicious. The very popular truck down the street has a different spice mix and some days I feel like one, and some days the other. I can't say I detect a quality difference. Maybe perhaps the portions are slightly larger at Cairo.
