Like a Mexican Applebees. Institutional food and institutional pre-made margarita mix (with maybe a dash of tequila). Price point is not egregiously high but not inexpensive either. Service was good. But in the future, I will be sure to go to a local authentic Mexican place.

We loved the decor in this restaurant especially for Halloween. The food was really good and very filling especially the sizzling fajitas and chips and salsa.

The atmosphere inside feel both authentic and unique. If presented the opportunity, I highly recommended eating indoors. Jesus R.provided great recommendations and wonderful customer service. The drinks were expertly crafted. We’ll be back!

My server was Jesus. Let me start by saying he was amazing. Awesome server who was available at all times but not overbearing. He was quick, nice, and accommodating. He gave us the perfect seat by an open window which made my day because it was halloween and I could see outside while being seated inside. As always the food was good and the margaritas on point. Please do yourself a favor and go here. Ive been a customer for 20 plus years and Ive never been disappointed. Cheers and enjoys if you decide to visit.

There is better Mexican Food in the West Village. Yes this is an iconic place, which is why it remains a popular destination

Overall, I rate them 3 stars.
Drinks- the drinks were delicious. They offer a great variety of drinks in various flavors. I recommend the mango mojito. The margs were also great.
Food- To start, we ordered the nachos. We were not impressed. They had refried beans on them and the cheese and chicken weren’t great- not a fan and have definitely had better. For our meals, we ordered the chicken quesadilla and steak quesadilla. They were good, but nothing out of this world.
Caliente Cab was good, but not mind blowing. I would return for drinks, but not to have another meal.

Tasty and delicious Mexican food specially the burrito definitely recomen it to people to come. I’m definitely coming back and the dessert was also really good.

The drink are great they have a fun menu. The food was fresh and add to order. Staff members very friendly. The restroom is downstairs in the basement so its not wheel chair friendly.

Excellent decor and ambience, I was having a not so great day and going here really helped my mood.
The food is good too, not extraordinary but goes well with the infinite options of margaritas.

Came out with a group of friends and had a great time! The food was really good and came out pretty fast! Most of all Jesus offered amazing service! He was super funny and kind to us, definitely made our night more enjoyable!

Hadn't been here in years, but it was just as we remembered it. Had a great time and enjoyed the specials which were muy delicioso!

A West Village institution! I'm so happy they survived the pandemic. Always a good time. TVs, great food, and not to mention the killer margaritas.

I was a perfect experience for people who likes the Mexican food, as the ambience where you feel at home.

Went on Halloween and the service, the food, the drinks, all incredible. Jesus was very attentive and super nice. Will definitely come back. 10/10 recommend.

Caliente Cab is a GREAT experience! The service and the food is exceptional this is a go to spot for reliable good food! If you’re ever in the west village come in and check it out. Drinks are to die for.
