Camp Bell Campground reviews
15No sewer at sites electric and water only! When it rains a lot of the sites become muddy! Not a pleasant experience!
Convenient to the highway. Does have full-time campers, but a great one night stop. Convenient to Corning Glass.
Because things happen in life I no longer have my summer home there if I was able I would go back to Campbell Camp Ground in a minute. Love it there Thank You Mr Ed you are a wonderful person
A quantit and friendly campground. The staff are always pleasant and helpful. They keep the campground well maintained and we enjoy the activities they offer as well as the pool.
Nice park. Clean and easy to navigate staff is uber friendly and the camp store has lots of goodies
Ed and staff are more than accommodating. It a wonderful gem of a campground. Lots to do for all. Everything was very clean. Its a great place!
Nice campground, clean bathrooms, loved the fact that there was ventilation in the rest rooms. Had a great site right near the bathrooms. The owner Ed was so nice. Our friends rented a camper at the campground and Ed placed it right next to us with the doors facing each other. Had a great time in a beautiful camp ground.
A really friendly, well cared for, campground with all the amenities you could need. Lots for those of all ages to enjoy.
We found this great campground on Passport America. We are thrilled that we stopped. It is a great, clean, friendly place. The store is well stocked, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. Ed is a riot and is very patient with weiry travelers.
Always a pleasant experience. Ed, the owner, goes out of his way to make you feel comfortable.
Well definitely not coming back here.the campground is filled a lot of seasonal rednecks, which wasn't that bad.actually very entertaining for people watching. The worse part was the size of the sites. We were assigned a buddy site, which was new to us. Definitely not a fan of sharing green space with a neighbor who is 6ft from your front door. And the neighbor on the other side basically stared into our kitchen window the whole side. Owner and staff were not bad but not too accommodating either. Overall if your thing is touring redneck villages or experiencing a white trash trailer park, put this place on your list. If you are more interested in privacy and quiet, skip it.
I called to make reservations for July 2-July 5 and was told no because I wouldn't arrive on a Friday so he may lose money for Friday night. Really I'm driving over 1600 miles and need to stop on Friday half way to our destination because it's not safe to travel over 800 miles pulling a travel trailer. So I can recommend that you do not call and try to make reservations.
We love it there. Owner is very friendly. People there seem friendly also. Very clean and well cared for.
We arrived on a Friday evening. Neither when we made reservations nor when we checked in did they tell us there would be "live music". The music would have been fine if it had not been played -using amplifiers - at top volume - for hours. After the live music stopped the gatherings at camp sites began with more music, very loud voices and shouting. (They do have "quiet hours" but they are neither respected by the campers nor enforced by the management.) NOT a peaceful nor restful experience.
Love this campground was here 10/3-8/2021. Quiet, convenient to Corning, Watkins and wine country. Ed the owner was very nice and he loves my puppy Roxie!
