It’s hard to even give them your money to become a member at this place, I spoke to a nice gentleman named Tom who was very welcoming and answered all my questions, I told him me and two of my buddys wanted to sign up for a membership ($450 in memberships), the only issue is the safety briefing was scheduled for an inconvenient time for all of us to join. So we were referred to speak with the safety briefing person who might be able to schedule a time that works best for everyone.
I called this person and left a VM, a few days and not response so I give it another try no answer, eventually he calls me back and like a normal person I say “hello”, this person’s response with “you called? ”, after that I asked if he could meet at a different time to give us the safety briefing to be able to utilize the club, he basically just says he can’t and he’s booked until next month, which is actually fine and understandable, but then he goes on to say when we all sign up to give him a call, and I respond with “so basically if we all sign up and pay money you will become more flexible to meet!? ” He says “maybe, or if you can come next month for the safet briefing”. I couldn’t help but to laugh at how ridiculous that sounded. Anyway I’ll pay more to go somewhere else! Bye.

No day membership. Trashy Pistol/Rifle range. Dirty.

Membership is incredibly expensive per person at $150/year (compared to $50/year/person for similar ranges in this area).

Not flexible at all with member on boarding. They force you to sit through a safety certification course even if you have completed it in the past, which is only available every month, second Saturday of the month.

If you enjoy shooting sporting clays with your shotgun then this is the place for you, otherwise if you’re a pistol shooter then forget it. This club could care less about pistol shooters. Now while they do have a few pistol ranges that are outdoors, they are closed during shotgun sporting clay events. And since they have the sporting clay events every Sunday, this means that the pistol ranges are closed during this event. And the event lasts anywhere from 10 o’clock in the morning until 5 o’clock at night. They also have sporting clay events on Saturdays at times. And on the Saturdays when they don’t have sporting clay events they sometimes reserve the pistol range for outside training through Rochester personal defense. So if you’re looking to shoot on the weekend and you’re a pistol shooter it can be very tough to find a time that works. I also feel the pistol ranges are very unsafe. In order to shoot on the pistol range, you simply pick a spot in the middle of the field and shoot at the target that cannot be moved. So if somebody else wants to shoot at a different location you either have to both shoot from the same location or you have to wait. There is no sort of signaling system to let others know people are down range so you really have to be careful. I have been a member for a year and came to this facility for pistol shooting and I do not plan on renewing because it is obviously clear that this club was designed for those who like to shoot sporting clays.
