Canarsie Park reviews
15 Great park to host family outings; friends' events.
However, parking is scarce, due to the park being surrounded by residential blocks. So arrive early if you're hosting an outside event.
Lotsa greenery: trees & grass. Bring a chair, sit back, chat with family-friends. Enjoy the sounds of children playing, or nearby music.
Note: Bathrooms close by dusk. So curb any drinking afterwards.
It's a lice area to chill out and grill and maybe a little fishing with family and friends.
This is my go to place for a nice relaxing walk. There's a scenic path all the way to Canarsie Pier and Shirley Chisholm Park. You can sit or stand by the water and enjoy the calmness. I got some really awesome sunset photos there. I love this walk in the summer and fall season. As it gets to winter it's really dark in the evenings- not much lighting so I prefer no to walk by myself.
The bugs was on 10. We had so many mosquito bites on us. Yikes. Next time we will definitely have some type of repellent.
This is a lovely park. Has water sprinklers, play area and swings. My daughter and son was excited that there was a sandpit. Also have lots of trees for shade and cool breeze.
Great park. Pretty clean and great for picnics and bbq's. Has a playground for the kiddies and a basketball court too. Some benches and tables but not many.
I love this park. I live across the street. I ride my bike, walk the path and the kids love being so close to the playground.
Nice little place to go fishing. Lots of benches and plenty of spots with shade. The one negatives over the last three times that I went there are always inconsiderate people blasting music from their cars
It's a large place and you can explore. It is safe and there are ample activities that you can do. It is also connected to a beach.
Great family environment. Nice atmosphere. Clean, lots of trees, trail for riding, jogging and walking. The bathrooms could do with some maintenance.
The park itself is ok but there's no parking. People double park and even park on the sidewalk which takes away from the atmosphere of the park itself. Rats tend to run around freely even though the park is crowded. Bathrooms close early at around 6pm. Not the best park but ok for the area.
I came out to search for a little 6 year old kid that went missing for almost 7hr, but burich hasem thanks God was found safe in good great outcomes
It seems to be a great place for family outings, not too much traffic, well you know the food, chairs and the? / toilet paper gotta be dropped off, other than that? It is a great place.
Seaview park is always nice to go through a little stroll. Especially with the new bike paths towards the back of the park.
It's a peaceful place to be I just sat on the side by a tree reading a book.its also very clean there and I would definitely go back again.
