BEWARE! Ruined all my clothes then accused me of ruining my own clothes and then hung up on me. RUN

Very upset with this company. I received all my clothes back with stains… my clothes did not have any stains when I left them there. After contacting the owner they refused to help and continued to accuse me that I gave them my clothes with stains. They lost a customer. 0/10 recommend.

BEWARE: If you cancel you subscription in the middle of your 4 weeks they will ROB you of the remaining time and refuse to provide service and not tell you of this policy!

They will not give you a contract or any terms or verbal warning, will harass you if you use a credit card chargeback and then will fight your claim using a “contract” THEY NEVER TELL YOU a ABOUT! Big time scmmers

BEWARE THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! I turned in an entire hamper of clothes to this company and when i picked up the clothes and began unboxing it at home i began realizing every article of clothing i had given them had stain blotches all over it.to make matters even worst it seems to be oil stains all over the clothes.i reached out and contacted the extremely unprofessional sad excuse of an owner for him to tell me that i must’ve brought the clothes in that way.i assured him that was impossible nor would it make sense that every article of clothing had the same sorts of stain and clearly this was their doing.he refused to help me and accused me of lying for money.as if money is what i cared about when they ruined articles of clothing i’ve bought and cared for over the years that they don’t even sell anymore.this sad excuse for a company is extremely unprofessional and i will be taking legal action.hoping this place is shut down soon like it deserves.

Left many stains on my clothes that weren’t there pre wash/dry. This was a recurring issue and they tried to blame me and only could say they were “not sure why”. They need to clean their washers and dryers, don’t trust them if you want clean clothes.

This is the best laundry service in the whole city! People should stop writing fake reviews about hard working and honest people like Capri! If I could recommend this place to anyone I know I would!

I have been doing my dry cleaning at this place for the past two years, and I have always received wonderful service and they do an amazing job with taking care of my delicate cloths. The staff are super helpful and friendly. It saddens me to see these spam reviews below as I think they are truly the best place in the neighborhood for laundry services.

I used to use Capri for months but stopped after they returned my items mixed up with other people’s underwear and socks which is completely gross and unsanitary.when i wanted to cancel the service they refused to refund me

Kept a winter coat & a cardigan that they were supposed to be dry cleaning for two weeks & did NOTHING. I only found out they were just sitting on them when I requested my dry cleaning back. I needed the coat & could’ve had it cleaned elsewhere. Provided no valid excuses & instead of being apologetic they actually gave me an attitude! To add insult to injury, THEY HAD THE AUDACITY TO CHARGE ME FOR DOING NOTHING! Good job losing a customer who used your service for years & referred so many people. Ungrateful & dishonest

I love this laundry service! The only one I use in the city. They are extremely kind and very professional. My laundry is always done the same day. I never thought I would use a wash and fold when I moved to the city but the convenience simply can’t be beat.

Great and reliable laundry service in the upper east side. Fast, quick and very responsive. The membership system they have for repeat customers is very good. Would definitely recommend and will continue to use as well. Thanks Capri!

Generally they’re not bad. You can always count on missing socks, you can occasionally count on someone else’s underwear/laundry in your laundry bag and also stained clothing. When you complain of stained clothing they don’t provide any compensation. Additionally, the pricing is sometimes unclear. If working with them I would confirm pricing in text prior to submitting laundry so you have proof.

Update - Originally had 3 stars. Which felt like a accurate assessment. Especially considering how rude the owner was to me. After leaving my review I received a passive aggressive unprofessional text message from the owner asking me to change the review to 1 star. Changed the review to 1 star. Avoid if you want to work with professionals.

Not happy with this service. In the first load I left with them, I ended up getting back a pair of shorts that weren’t mine, which was not a great first impression. They also didn’t apologize for the inconvenience of me having to go back to drop off the shorts. I had asked if they could separate the whites and colors, and the owner said it would cost extra. This made me think it was fine to request, but the next time I asked for the whites to be done separately, they left my text message on read. This made me nervous so I went in person to ask, and the owner was very dismissive, saying “we’ll take care of it” when I asked if I needed to ask every time. The next time I asked again and he said it’s too expensive to do multiple loads, even though I was willing to pay the extra cost. I appreciate that they agreed to give me a refund for the remainder of the month when I said I would do my laundry elsewhere. However, it took over a week to get the payment as I had to follow up multiple times. The on-demand pick-up and drop-off is convenient, but not worth it when I can’t trust that they’re taking care of my clothes.

Also the “Loyalty” program is a scam.

Terrible service. This place advertises that they will give $5 discount after your 5th laundry service but the delivery guys would never stamp the discount card so we were never able to get this discount they advertised. This company also advertise a monthly subscription rate for laundry service and they DID NOT provide the actual monthly subscription

Amazing service! Nice people to speak to, prompt pick up & delivery, had my laundry back within the same day. Will be using them from now on.
