Transaction charges for cards charging extra for each glass of soda. Pizza might be good but food is comparable to other restaurants. Nothing special

Have only done takeout from Capri Pizza. Food has always been consistently good though a bit pricey. Other than the price, no complaints. I'll pay the money for good food.

We ordered broccoli rabe pizza and chicken francese I can’t decide which one was better! The pizza was fantastic the chicken was tender and absolutely delicious (can’t leave a photo because there’s not a Morse left) I will definitely get both of these again

The pizza is absolutely amazing. Whenever I'm near Tarrytown I make sure to stop and get a slice from here. This is a place you would expect to find a New York City not in the suburbs. Five stars.

My absolute favorite aside from tramonto for Italian food. Excellent service and excellent food! This isn't just a pizzeria this is an amazing amazing restaurant. Love love their minestrone soup and all of their entrees!

Visiting the area from out of state. Stopped here to grab dinner before heading back. Walked in to a large crowd waiting for their food. Squeezed through to be seated at the dine in area at the back of the establishment. Everything was fine (nice decor, friendly staff) until our food came. My daughter received her entree first. Several minutes later, one of the servers brought over my pizza. I ordered a small vegetarian. What was put in front of me was a pizza crust with sauce on top. I thought maybe the vegetables were mixed in with the sauce so I couldn’t see them, but I looked up at her perplexed and asked if I could have cheese on top. She thought I meant grated parm which was already on our table. I should add that there was a language barrier between us. I tried to clarify that I wanted mozzarella cheese and she seemed to not understand me. She went to the lead server and he came over, they exchanged some words in another language as he took away my pizza and apologized, telling me he would have it fixed. I sat there for another 20 minutes while my daughter consumed her meal. When my “fixed” pizza finally came out, I told them I would just be eating one piece and nicely asked to have the rest boxed up because we were on a schedule and had to leave (now being there already an hour). I also asked for the check. He brought the little check printout to me on a little clipboard. As per usual, I just glanced at it to make sure everything was in order and then I placed my credit card on top. He took the slip and my card away and came back with the multiple copies. I noticed the new copies had a higher total than the original. After getting his attention (10 minutes later), I asked about the difference and he told me there was a 4% surcharge for using my credit card. When asked how was I supposed to know that, he pointed to some worn away print on the clipboard (that we couldn’t read) and some signage supposedly at the front of the restaurant (which we looked for and did not find as we exited the restaurant). So, not only did I wait 40 minutes for a sub-par pizza, but I was charge an extra 4% because I used a credit card (I had cash on me and would have used that instead had I known about the surcharge). The disclaimer about the surcharge was on the tiny clipboard UNDER the slip of paper I glanced at originally. He never once made mention before charging me of any surcharge. If anything, I thought they would maybe have the professional courtesy of not charging for the pizza I had to wait 40 minutes for, but instead I waited 40 minutes for sub par pizza and then was penalized for using a credit card. We will never again go here the next time we’re in the area again. Also, if you don’t fancy listening to loud Latin music while eating in an Italian restaurant, you should not go here.

Good sauce. Never mess up orders. It's got so much potential but the dough is always undercooked IMO. I feel like an extra 30 seconds in the oven could go a long way

Really good pizza but poor customer service. I ordered take out and it took 10 minutes longer than what was promised to have my pizza. Not a big deal but what really lost all of my future business is that they charge you an automatic “service fee” and then still prompt you for a tip. If I hadn’t read the itemized receipt, I would’ve double tipped. No warning beforehand that there’s an automatic service charge to the bill. Also…what service? ! I ordered to go, I paid for my pizza, the only service I received was being given the pizza that is legally mine since I had paid for it. I see this trend more and more in restaurants and it’s costing their servers/waiters income because I refuse to double tip. $1.50 service charge for a $40.00 take out meal. Normally I would tip take out 10% but that should be at my discretion. It should never be an automatic charge. That tells me that regardless of service, food quality, or amount, the restaurant is EXPECTING a tip. Poor and tacky business practice. Restaurants that do the bare minimum will receive the bare minimum. Restaurants that employ shady practices such as these will lose all my future business.

Ordered medium well. Burger was burned. And did not included all my order in the bag. This place is “hit and miss”, depends on the day, the chef and who’s at the front.

Price gouging at its best. Very expensive for slices of pizza and on top of the price of pizza being expensive they charge an additional 3% for using your ATM debit card. A high volume restaurant so their merchant sales cost should be off set by the amount of charges they process.

Capri has always had the best pizza in town but the service I got after an incomplete online order has topped it off. I had to remind them on the phone and in person about my order. I wasn’t even given an apology. By the time I got home my food was cold. Thanks very much Capri

Just the oppsite to the amazing beautiful island of Capri. Did you know the Pizza Margherita is with black pepper? I'm italian and I never never saw that. I asked for a slice of Margherita and they give me a slice with a black pepper on top and very calmly i asked if it was black pepper. One person very rudely told me that all the foods has black pepper and he didn't even ask me if I wanted anything different. They took my money for the slice also if I give back it. Thank you. I'M NEVER COMING BACK!

Capri has downright one of the best pizza slices I've ever had, live in New York my whole life, that's saying something. Their menu is also very good, Italian food at its best, good portions and reasonably priced. Love this place, wish it was closer to my home in Dutchess County.

Dont let the reviews fool you. The pizza is horrible, one of the worst pizza I have ever had! For the people who rate this pizza 2+ stars, someone need to check your taste buds.

And yes I ordered pizza here numerous time's and every time is worse than before. Maybe it used to be good, but not anymore.

I don’t want to be mean……so this is ONLY for the pizza. The actual restaurant is very cute and the staff are incredibly sweet.

So, the pizza.: : le sigh: : I truly wish they would taste the sauce before putting it on the pizza. It has that ketchup-y taste that reminds me of school cafeteria pizza or Elio’s frozen pizza. Even the cheese reminded me of Elio’s. I love pizza. And this was my 4th stop on a pizza recon with a friend. I was conducting this recon mission to find out what was the best pizza to order in the future for my son’s bday party. After various conversations with other folks, they too agreed that the pizza is not good here. SOO much potential and I was so excited to come here and love the pizza, but sadly, I did not.

I have not tried the other food here so I cannot comment on it. Hopefully they revisit the flavor of the sauce and make changes.

This place is awesome! The food is delicious, there are many options, including my vegetarian daughter and they are very professional. Quick deliveries when ordering directly from their website too!

Edit: Great and respectful waiters and staff.
