Too expensive for basics like plain rice or even a lunch plate good food better prices and services needed

Caridad restaurant back in the day use to be the spot for good food but they not all that today. The food definitely isn’t the same anymore and I don’t go in this restaurant anymore. I usually go downtown Manhattan or other areas if I want good food.

I've been buying from this place for many years now. The quality of service and food has gone down drastically. I really only purchase their food to give to my dogs, so it makes good dog food, but if it's not for an animal I would not recommend it. I recommend other places like Brisa Dominicana. Also, the ladies taking the orders by cellphone are super unknowledgeable and rude.

Back in the day the food use to be good. We with friends and my son during lunch time and was told they do not sell lunches during the weekend which we were cool with. The lady that served us wasn’t the nicest. The food came out and it was just disgusting. The oxtails were super hard and no flavor whatsoever. The black beans were hard. My friends maduros was cold. The food didn’t taste fresh at all. Definitely will not come back here.

Que Sabroso! How tasty! Love the food here. Always very friendly and quick service. My husband and I love eating here. This is the perfect spot for small or large gatherings as they try their best to accommodate groups. I am a vegetarian and appreciate all of the options on the menu for appetizers. Get the Mofongo and tostones. They leave your mouth watering!

The food is very tasty, the only thing that excess salt makes you sick is unpleasant but very good, it is constructive criticism because it is the part where I like to eat too much salt

GOOD always on point, now they have margaritas and specials everyday on a different flavor oh my God you have to try it amazing

The food is delicious as well as the quantity also the price is good.

The service of the girls who serve the food is very good, always with a smile.

But if you are going to eat at the place, those who serve you at the table are terrible.

I arrived when there were only two diners in the establishment, they invited me to sit down and wait for someone to take my order and it took more than 10 minutes for someone to bring me a menu. The worst thing is that they served 2 or 3 groups of people before me.

When a waiter finally appeared and asked me what I wanted, I told him that I just need the door to get out of here.

I can’t believe they gave me literally not even a whole fish as part of the lunch special. Stop skimping. It’s insane how LITTLE food I got for the price I paid. Don’t order from here if you’re trying to get the most bang for your buck. Totally unacceptable. That being said the food quality is good! Stupid inflation!

Caridad Restaurant is 1 of the best restaurant to go for breakfast, lunch, or dinner, the food taste sooo good and the portions are so big 2 people can eat. The prices for the food is great, so if ur looking for good food with great prices n easy parking this is the place for you!

There food is excellent if you love Spanish food you'll love La Caridad the rice, beans, chicken, sweet plantains the taste

The food is great tasting bud some of the customers went with the dog and all the server been touched the dog and they been serving that is not right

I absolutely love the food here, but the staff are excellent also. I often go towards the end of the night after work and they're packed right up until closing but even though it can take a few minutes to order, the food is fresh, delicious, and reasonably priced, and care is taken to get the order right and have it packed to go, which I appreciate since I have to get on the subway to go home. I had an empinada here once and it was so good I craved empinadas for months afterwards but the ones from Empinada Mama and the supermarket weren't as good so I kept going back here for more! Highly recommend. They also are helping to prevent food waste which is so important to me.

Very disappointed I ordered the rotisserie chicken combo. The chicken had no flavor, white rice & white beans awful as wellthey didn’t put any mojitos garlic Sauce.

The food is AMAZING, I always stop by and order to go because my family and I love this place, I'm giving 1 star because everytime I go there they ASK FOR TIPS, I work on the service industry and I usually tip really well but it's ANNOYING THAT THEY ASK FOR MONEY WHEN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKS.

We called and placed an order for steak with onions and tostones, fried bananas.
We had forgotten that the last time We ordered steak it was very salty. Well again this time it was salty. Cannot believe it. Priced at $21.50.
Further the tostones came with the lid half opened. Service needs upgrade.
I was writing this review as My Wife tried to eat her food but I learned She dumped the steak in the garbage as it was too too salty. So I paid $21.50 plus $4.50 to delivery Man for fried bananas.

Not a family atomspere at all. They cater to singles faster than family with kids. They over price and burn the kids burgers to the point they couldn't bite it and took over 20 mins to replace the burgers, which my kids no longer wanted. And didn't receive any still charged me for it. I use to love this location but the staff has fallen off bad. Steak and rice and beans were still amazing. But definitely not a family spot. They cater too much to club atomspere.
