Carl's Equipment & Supply Inc reviews
6Worst experience with power washer repair. My husband bought a power washer here and after only a few years it stopped working. Of course it was no longer under warranty. We brought it back to them to repair in which they said a part had to be ordered. After a year waiting and no calls from them, we finally picked it up only to have them say it was forgotten about. Plus parts were missing! Looks as if it was stripped. Do not come to them for sales or service!
I've been a Carl's customer for 30 years, but I'm done dealing with the extremely nasty lady behind the counter of the Patchogue store. I'm sorry you're so miserable lady. I hope never seeing me again helps you with your pain. Goodbye Carl's Equipment.
Sal was extremely helpful in setting me up with a new Toro 22 inch electric battery mower. I like Carl's and have been coming here for many years. It's still the same great experience.
Worst store ever I bought a chain where they said it was the one, they even checked my machine went back for an exchange Google says they close at 5pm they were walking 4: 45pm, a lady which is the manger came up and was being really rude and nasty all I wanted was an exchange. There customer service is really bad starting from the manager,
They did a good job refurbishing my old Snapper ride-on mower, BUT.
Just like tire shops, they tightened the blade bolts with an imapct wrench, so that even a 14-in bar and more than 100 ft.lbs of torque won't do it. On requesting a quick visit to loosen them to a mangeable torque setting (80 would do), they flatly refused: not their fault. (And even said that torques were measured as the correct PSI on the wrench. PSI? !) So I won't be able to get the blade off to sharpen it in the fall. Not their fault of course. And not what I call customer support; in fact dreadul.
