Nice, clean place to have a drink or to have a meal when they do their different dinners. Friendly staff.

The American Legion is there for Groton's Veterans and their familys. During the fall there is live bands, and during the summer, usually chicken barbeques. They do a lot of good things for the townsfolk. Very nice, great food, drinks and comraderie. They also serve liquor, but not too excess. So, if you are a veteran, or related to one, stop in, and see for yourself how awesome the VFW is.
