We ordered 2 plates of punugulu & it was very very oily - like literally when you squeeze oil was dripping. I’m attached few pics and you can see tbat oil on the napkin was from just one of them. We asked the gentleman who served that to us to cancel the order from the check, his response was “He can’t do it” with a rude tone.
Also naan was very thick like pizza - really not well cooked as well.
Mysore bonda is really and must try item!

Food was very good. Interesting shop. They are still setting up so will review again. I forgot to say not spicy and it was spicy!

Very authentic-looking food in a bare bones, kind of Bronx-like atmosphere. Food was only lukewarm, which vastly decreased its appeal for me.

Finding a hair in the food is the last straw for me. Not my first time getting a take out but this is just not acceptable. Never ordering food from here.

Very good food, prices have gone up and maybe portions are down a bit, sometimes they may have a different chef, as the food is different, not bad just you have to expect it

We order 2 masala dosa but it’s totally waste of money there’s no taste at all
Dosa is not crunchy it’s eating like a plain atta sambhar is horrible only vegetable's pieces in it chutney was horrible you can only taste ginger I it

Me and my wife discovered this place a few years ago, and we love it. They changed their location to a bigger one, which is great, so now they have a restaurant and a grocery store. It's great we love it there.

Worst experience ever. We ordered a chicken pulav and the pulav looked stale and was even cold. We asked if we could get a replacement and they rudely answered that we can return it if we don’t wanna eat and they wouldn’t change it. The most mean response you can give a customer.

I ordered butter paneer from this place for dinner and it had lot of food color in it. My figures had that color on it next whole day.

I don't tend to write reviews unless I truly believe it is worth it. Also, I am an Indian Cuisine lover that has been in South India to try this delish food.

I came to this place thinking it was a low key Indian restaurant. However, I was disappointed at the following points
1) Cleanliness - The table was not clean
2) The prices shown on the menu are not the same as the charges you get once you are done eating. The personnel will not tell you this in advanced and a small hand written statement in black ink over a dark background on a flyer is supposed to tell you the prices "may" be different from the ones shown on the menu. The attendant will try to bypass displaying this disclaimer as well so you will get surprised at the end paying a higher price over not a high quality of food.
3) The food itself was not great either. I ordered Samosa Chat and the item was overcooked and lacked Tamarind and chutney. The appetizer felt more like chana over an old samosa. The mutton biryani was 99% bones over rice. I had better food at other indian restaurants in Capital Region for less of a price.
4) At the time of payment, I requested a receipt of my credit card transaction and I was refused one.

I am aware due to the economy restaurants had to up their prices. However, it is honorable to encounter restaurants that are more upfront and honest about their prices.

I would not come back and you should think about it before deciding to eat at this place. I bet the number of reviews are being done by family members and friends of the owners and people that run this place.

This is only a takeout place only. We got chicken biryani and chicken 65. The food tasted good but the biryani didnt have enough chicken pieces. Chicken 65 was good. They have a good app where you can order food. Food was ready in less than 30 min.

Amazing paneer biryani in Capital District. Definitely tastes very authentic compared to all the others I’ve tried in an around the region. Haven’t personally tasted the other variants (chicken/boneless) so can’t speak for them. Taking off two stars because we ordered boneless chicken biryani and they gave us a normal chicken biryani. And this happened more than twice. Was quite disappointing! However, I highly recommend the paneer biryani to satisfy your cravings! Worth the drive if you live in Troy/Albany/Watervliet for sure.

Ordered tandoori chicken. Chicken is completely spoiled and got bad smell we went back and showed them.they tasted it and said that's how we make in our restaurant. Very rude and serves ruined food. Don't deserve a single star

Ordered mutton biryani and paneer tikka. I was so disappointed by the food. Paneer tikka was not cooked At All. Spices tasted raw and so were the bell peppers. Paneer was rubbery.
Mutton biryani was not what I expected at all. Very less meat and only bones. It didn’t taste fresh, smelled odd and was not even warm. I guess that’s why there was promo discount offer.
The mutton biryani I had from here about a year ago was so good and worth every penny. Wonder what changed.

We got in and wanted to go out right away.
Very dirty place, crumble of food on the floor, knob in front door sticky from dirt with black spots around. Dust on the shelves, dirty floor. I didn't want to eat anything there.

Goat Dum Biryani is the worst I have ever eaten. I received some basmati rice which is not fresh and there is no meat at all I only found bones.

Real, authentic south indian food. Such an wide array of choices on the menu! This is easily the best ive had in the capital region. Delicious lamb kurma and vada! Cant wait to order again

Service is the worst ever possible. The guy at the counter (Gopi nath) is very rude, I placed the order for food and went to pick up, he was so busy on the phone FaceTiming that he gave me someone else’s order. I drove back home and then I realized the order is wrong, called back and was told to bring it back. I refused and told him to send it to my address. After 45 minutes I did get my food but it had become cold by then and guests had gone back. Waste of time and efforts also money. It is not cheap.

This is the best Indian food in the capital district and beyond! Not only was the food absolutely delicious it was so fresh, great prices, and the service was excellent.

I saw a 1 star review by Randa based on the lack of service. She was there when we were having our meal - she wasn't even there for 5 mins before leaving. I don't think people understand how much negative reviews impact people who run small businesses.

No customer service and very slow -i was in the restaurant for 15 minutes and not even one person came to ask me what I wanted to drink or offer me a menu I was on lunch break and could not afford to wait guy in front of the store could care less Went to the Thai place across the street and was served in literally a second -
