Roof tear off and clean up complete one day by early afternoon and scheduled within days of signing contract. Full walk through after with proper expectations.

We have a big old house in the country, with half of the roof still in cedar shingles, so a pretty large job. Carter's team worked quickly and efficiently, under some challenging circumstances including a stiff wind and some snow!
We have a bit of exterior carpentry work still to do, and will have the team back in the spring time to wrap that up.

Great experience and work well done. Insurance experts, Carter worked with my insurance company and was able to get 30x of what the insurance company was offering for repairs. Entire roof replacement completed in 2-days and absolutely no mess left behind. Top notch Roofing company!

Carter Exteriors just finished our complete roof replacement. We had some special concerns and needs regarding icing issues.partly due to our Gambrel roof (think barn style). Other companies either did not want the job or offered “quick fix” solutions. Carter Exteriors owner and a team member (Jim) came out, checked the entire roof, noted problems and outlined ways to help alleviate/prevent our issues. Jim and/or Austin checked in consistently to ensure the oddities were going smoothly. The crew was great…very professional, knowledgeable of their craft, courteous, and hard working……even working a very long day to get everything covered when unexpected rain came late in the day! Clean up was also very thorough. Frank and I highly recommend Carter Exteriors.

Very bad customer service haven’t received a return call for months. When we were looking for someone to do our roof, they constantly contacted us until we decided to use them but now that there’s an issue with the roof no one will return our call. Google says that they’re open from 9 to 5, but they’re never open. We’ve sat in the lot hoping to see and speak with someone but.no o one comes in and no one goes out. After a couple of months of the new roof we noticed shingles and nails coming from off of the roof. Fast forward to summer. There are more shingles coming off of the roof. Sadly the nice lady that answers the phone is the best thing about the company.several months later still no return call at all.

Carter Exterior did a great job with the siding and gutters on my house. Sean headed up the install and was very pleased. Thanks the house looks great!

Overall I had a terrific experience working with Carter exteriors. The quoting process was a bit shaky as my quoter had to reschedule our first appointment and was late to his second appointment where his wife waited in the car. I believe he forgot the samples that he said he was going to bring as he only used his phone to display the shingle color options. Besides not being overly professional my quoter was very knowledgeable and was able to answer all of our questions. Additionally the scope of work quoted was beyond what was included in other quotes I received. I know sometimes things happen so we gave him the benefit of the doubt and we’re glad we did. After getting past the quote everything went extremely well. Austin Carter reached out to us directly and I knew we were in good hands. Jim the project manager was very professional and communicative. His son Hunter was also very easy to work with. I received constant updates from them and knew exactly what was happening in real time. The job itself took longer than expected and instead of rushing the job, Jim’s team worked a full day longer to insure things were done properly. They crew was very friendly and did an excellent job with clean up. They used magnetized rollers multiple times and at the end of the job you never would have known they were there. They also went above and beyond by properly venting out 2 bath fans and painting PVC venting so it matched our roof (at no additional cost). The roof ultimately looks great and Carter Exteriors provided us with the longest warranty, standard. I would highly recommend using Carter Exteriors.

Carter Exteriors was an amazing company to work with. Their General Manager Jim came out to show us the roofing materials they used, matched it almost identically to the existing one on a detached garage. He was here while the roofing installation was taking place. His crew was professional, courteous, and very fast working. They dropped roofing tarps along the whole house, so no landscape was damaged, and they were immaculate with their cleanup. We also had soffits installed and facia around some windows. Shawn and his crew were wonderful, and their work was suburb. I can't express how great this company was to work with. We hope to hire them again this upcoming Spring for windows and doors. Thank you Carter Exteriors, we are so happy we chose you to put some beautiful touches on our home!

They were good at being quick, and did a decent job on the roof from what I can tell. However, they sold me on how much care and attention they would provide (“you won’t even know we were here”). I can’t even count on one hand the number of times they said our plants would be protected. After they called once to ask about a time, and without a confirmation, they showed up and started work. I had asked them to delay because my parents (who live at the house) were hosting family for the weekend. In addition to four different plants being damaged or destroyed, the dumpster for the job as well as extra materials were left blocked the driveway all weekend, making it impossible to park.
Honestly, if I hadn’t been sold on their quality and “we’ll treat it like our own” attitude, I wouldn’t have a complaint. However, they sold me on the “extra mile”, but didn’t take an extra step.

To be fair, they gave me 100$ off (an 11,000$ job) but had I known that I was going to have a 1% discount for allowing damage to my plants, I may have gone with a different company for my roof.

I required a complete two layer tear off of my residential home, to include the addition of ridge vents and water barriers. After tear off, a portion of the original roof sheathing also needed to be replaced due to water damage and rot.
All facets of the replacement process went ideally. The estimator was thorough and walked me through the work to be performed. The contract was clear and concise. The actual work was scheduled within 2 weeks of my accepting the bid. Materials and a dumpster arrived the day before work started. The project was completed by a professional crew in a single, long day despite some bad weather. This included a complete clean-up of all the materials removed in the tear-off. A check for nails was performed and the dumpster was gone the day after.
Since you don't replace a roof routinely, selecting a contractor is always somewhat of a gamble no matter how much you prepare. As described, I am very happy with my selection of Carter and my new roof.
