Cast Iron Pot Queens

Went to check it out over a review for AYCE places, but honestly, I wasn't impressed. The oil from the food was spitting on our clothes while they were cooking the food, the shrimp wasn't cleaned, and the girl helping seemed annoyed instead of helpful. I was trying to see if they had desserts or things to look forward to after the meal and nothing. I had a serious stomach problem when i got home. Sorry, in my opinion, it was limited in selection compared to other places in the 5 boroughs. I'm not going back it was overpriced and something off with the food.

Don’t waste your time. You can expect to wait for 25 minutes after receiving a text message that your table is “nearly ready”, you can expect to be greeted by 2 hosts that lie about the wait time, communicate poorly and who can’t be bothered to explain to patrons how they can join the waitlist. I watched an old couple come in and the hosts rudely pointed to the sign and walked away from them. With all of the korean bbq places with the area, I wouldn’t bother here.

I come to cast iron pot whenever I crave for KBBQ. The food is delicious and is high quality. Even though it’s a little expensive it’s worth it every time. I recommend getting the spicy pork belly, and the spicy buldak chicken. The small tower (beer) was also good.

My first KBBQ experience in the east coast was here and since then I've gone back a few times and haven't been disappointed. The side items are delicious and so are the meat. Highly recommend this place for all you can eat bbq in flushing.

One of the best korean bbq spots around town. They had unlimited meat and appetizers during holidays and weekends. The meat was cooked well and the server was very attentive to our needs. This is probably the best deal/worth the buck you'll get around town.

We had a party of 7 and they allocated us into a good area with two tables.

For an AYCE restaurant it is a great space to bring family and friend for a good meal and a good time!

Would Try Again!

Went in a late time or group of friend. As a customer advised for owner or GM stick a sticker a BURN WARNING SIGN! PLEASE the grill will heat up all metals equipment around and accident burn, got a friend burn it we ask for ice pack, it’s pretty nice that they help us wrap a plastics bag with some ice, one thing to mention we told the waiter that we got burn, the way of the waiter answer is “Oh I’m sorry I should of told you earlier” We didn’t know that will get burn by the plate or the cup, it just makes us feels like replied sarcastically which doesnt feel comfortable. After that I believe that waiter is off shift. As a Waiter and Server of ourselves, we are really appreciated for the services. Specially the guy that is mixed of Chinese and Korean he is very kindhearted and friendly for the service, also he help us to get a bandage with some burn cream on it for us. We didn‘t get a chance to ask he’s name and appreciate as a server we know life is not that easy everybody is hard worker. We also appreciate the pretty lady and the other waiter helps to server us. If there’s a further chance for raise to Manager or shift leader I would recommend the guy that help’s us. Service is 5 stars “1 star is because we didn’t like that tone answering”. Food is okay and delicious.

Love eating here every time I come to Queens New York. They don’t offer this in Boston and I I wish they did!

This was my favorite kbbq spot but the quality of pretty much everything on the menu has decreased significantly in the last year. Most of the steak is either bland or very tough and the steamed egg used to be perfect but now it is way overcooked. The service is always great and efficient but I won’t be returning.

First time having this and it was amazing. My girlfriend really loved it and we always want to go back.

One of my favorite Korean BBQ in the city. Food is great, service is amazing and the atmosphere is nice. The staff are always nearby walking around ready to take your order and are constantly helping you prepare your food. All you can eat for two hours for $40 per person. It's a great bargain. I highly recommend trying their beef thin brisket

Best kbbq in the neighborhood and best service i’ve had in a while. The top blade steak and the pork jowls are a must have. All the servers are fast, efficient, consistent, and kind. They also cook all your meats to the perfect temperature. Could not recommend more.

Sam in the best waiter there. This is probably my 3rd or 4th time being here and everytime i come in he talks to me like we’ve been friends for years.
The cast iron steak and the beef bulgogi are my favorite along with garlic cube steak.

First time here. We had the $40 all you can eat in ninety minutes dinner. The brisket beef was very good with thinly sliced meat, but the second batch was very fatty. The pork belly was too fatty for my taste. The garlic beef cubes were very good. We ordered some fried dumplings, but the dumpling casing was too thicknamd not that good. The typical dipping and sides were tasty. Be aware that the meat is cooked in front of you it can get a bit hot and smokey at the table. But that adds to the experience. You will go home very full.

Came in for a birthday on a week night. Party of 9, our server was great food was pretty good and he made sure to keep it coming. Had a great time never felt rushed and place was packed

Always an amazing experience at Cast Iron in Flushing. Have introduced my friends and family here a while ago. I always felt the service is amazing and food is always good. Staff is ALWAYS so friendly and accommodating. We always come back! My favorite kbbq spot. I wanted to write a review because I realize I come here so often and have never written one for Cast Iron. Also, we celebrated one of my friend’s birthday here last night and Jimmy was amazing! He made us feel special. We really didn’t think our experience could get even better until Jimmy! We enjoyed it so much. His service is amazing. If he isn’t the manager yet, he definitely should be!

Staff was nice, food is great, drinks are good, and I love Kpop on tv! The banchan selection is not great but it is AYCE so you can keep ordering snacks. The new fish cake is more of a fish fritter but it is really good. I did feel like I had to ask for a lot of things I consider standard at Korean BBQ like ssam (lettuce wraps), never got any rice that we ordered, and sesame oil for pork belly.
