Charity Catholic Charities reviews
5Well it's a great establishment within the community. The art of paying it forward is one of the things they do best. Food pantry, rent assistance they even help vets with acquiring housing. A donation there will go a long way with helping those who need it most.
Sad. After my wife passed my income was cut in half and I ended up facing eviction, I went there for help through the VA's SSVF program. My case was transferred to the Salvation Army where I was assigned to a worker who absolutely refuses to listen to me. This worker is forcing me to move into an "apartment" through Housing visions that is completely unacceptable. My 15 yr old sons bedroom is less than 7x7, smaller than your average bathroom and the apartment is less than two blocks from one of the worst complexes in Syracuse, when I try to contact catholic charities I get no response.
Yall really on here complaining about free food and services. Should be ashamed of yourselves. If you don't like what they offer, get your own.
They gave me a list of apartments. I am using that list to find apartments so I can move in too.
Great people and very helpful. If it weren't for catholic charity, many more folks would be homeless, or starving. It is hopeful to know u can turn to them when in a crisis. This place helps LOW income families get back on thier feet. Thanks catholic charity's.
