I have learned so much in this class with CATS of Syracuse. The paces of the class just right so you feel challenged but not overwhelmed. I especially found the review of practice inspections very helpful. I’m thrilled to have found this class! The Instructor, Jason, is not only an awesome teacher but a great mentor as well. His lessons were engaging, useful, and he was very patient with everyone in class always encouraging his students to try. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in learning Home Inspections.

C. A. T. S. Home Inspection School of Syracuse offers outstanding instruction with a flexible schedule to learn everything needed to become a NY state licensed home inspector. The instructor and curriculum are thorough and easy to understand. The cost is affordable and the support is amazing. Absolutely fantastic program, suitable for anyone, from all walks of life! The course flexibility that is specifically designed for those with limited time was amazing! Jason is a great instructor and teacher, who is extremely patient, very efficient, yet incredibly thorough. He effectively correlates real life experiences during instruction to key details from the material. This makes the information relatable, comprehensive and memorable, when needed for testing, and in real world application. I'd highly recommend C. A. T. S to anyone seeking additional income, and who may be interested in the home inspection field.

It's everything you need to become a good home inspector. I like the reporting software over others and being able to take the course in the evening made it possible for me. Jaime was a great instructor and was very thorough. Dan was always helpful and responds quickly with questions as well.

Attended CATS School for Home Inspection and found course very thorough and comprehensive. Appreciated the scheduling of evening classes and practice inspections on Saturdays. Dan Osborn is very accessible, honest and professional if you have any concerns regarding class or support. Jamie Mazurek is excellent instructor and anyone will benefit from the education and real world inspection experiences of these instructors. A+

I was interested in taking continuing education classes at C. A. T. S. I informed him that i was taking most of the classes with Joe Mahr from American building inspection and training company and would just need to take 1 class with him because i had to miss a class from Joe Mahr due to a death in the family. He was very unsympathetic and wouldn't stop rambling on about how his class is better because they're offered all the time throughout the year. I told him Joes were as well but i just was hoping to take the additional class soon if possible. I just wanted to take 1 class from him to fill in the one that i would be missing but apparently that wasn't good enough for him. He then hung up on me and wouldn't return my calls. Anyway, my first impression of the guy was not good at all and i will be giving all of my business to Joe Mahr from American Building Inspection and training company and I recommend you doing the same.

Excellent course. I liked being able to complete over the course of 4 months. It was easier to absorb the information and truly learn the material as opposed to cramming it all in over a short 2 weeks.
