LOVED it here! We had so much fun. We took the equestrian trails out to the harbor and got great views of the sound, then took the bluff trail back. Almost 5 miles of beautiful walking! Highly reccomend to check it out. There are some paved trails, some not. It's great for all levels and abilities and can be customized to any ability!

Beautiful preserve. I’ll be back. I walked the 4.5 mile putter trail as listed on AllTrails. Highly recommended.

If you live on the island and haven't been to the historic site of Caumsett State Park, you've been missing out on all the beauty of what this park has to offer! With gorgeous trails, beautiful scenery, an equestrian, and the sites, you need more than one weekend to explore this massive park! Do yourself a favor and plan a wonderful day with the family and capture the most precious views and moments!

Love this place! A little hidden gem for biking or hiking in both trails and along the beach. Easy hiking for everybody level with some easy hills. Nice 5 mile loop down to the beach and through some woods.
A tornado ripped these trees down a few weeks ago!
Also beware of the funny looking (cats?) that are eating all of the grass in the park!

Beautiful park with lovely scenery. Sad to see so much tree damage from recent storm. Will return when Fall colors peak. Rode our bikes, but many people walked the 3 mile loop.

I’ve been going to Caumsett since I was a child, I love it! Not only are the old memories great, but I get to build new ones with my children. It’s a great bike park, but you can also take some really nice walks. The beach is beautiful.

It’s interesting as it’s located in a huge area of land surrounded with horse stable, garden and cafe that was once an old stay home kind of thing or maybe service waiters quarters.

The trail is pretty simple and straightforward has nothing to do with bumps, you can ride bikes inside and even scooters.
It gets a bit chilly in the evening but if you’re working out you bet

What a beautiful piece of Long Island hidden away in Lloyd Harbor. Part of a former Gold Coast estate has many hiking trails, a beach for fishing with permit and a polo field. Rejuvenated grasslands and native plant projects. It has a small cafe. A relaxing place to spend the day.

Loved everything about it, from the woods to the ocean, to the trails in between and the history. Beach is rocky just like I like it, with few people.
I took off a star for the mosquito population which is out of control on the beach. Only way to make it walking along is if you never stop. I mean, don't tie your shoelace. Also for fast rising tide. But with all that I would visit again for sure.
