Celest Jamaican Cuisine, Watertown NY

The food was amazing and tasted just like a home cooked meal. I would return to this restaurant and I would bring my friends. I found it to be very clean as well with easy parking.

We ordered ahead to pick up as we were driving through Watertown on our way to the Adirondacks. Ms. Wendy went out of her way to get our order right. The food was delicious. The rice and peas were a perfect texture and seasoning and plentiful, the plantains carmelized to sweetness and the jerk chicken moist and spicy. I would have preferred dark meat so I will have to ask next time. We will definitely be back.

Wendy was amazing! The food is the best Jamaican food I've ever had. This place is a true hidden gem of the North Country. Do yourself and your taste buds a favor and go see Wendy.

Headed to NYC from Toronto and stopped for some gas and when suddenly the mist cleared and like a beacon in the night I spotted a Jamaican flag and Celest Jamaica Cuisine appeared on the Horizon. The food is fantastic and the portions monstrous. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. Will make a point to stop on my next trip. Highly recommend!

I've had oxtail up and down the East Coast and I'd have to say the flavors really just hit the soul and tongue with that Jamaican authenticity.

Wendy was amazing, and she gave us first time customers a cool lesson about Jamaican culture and then we received our food and it was phenomenal! I highly recommend trying this place to anybody! A+

An amazing taste of the Caribbean in the frosty north. Delicious food and amazing staff 10/10

We wanted something new for my husband's birthday dinner and we've been craving Caribbean food so we stopped into Celeste and were not disappointed. The service was prompt and friendly and the food was absolutely delicious. The oxtail and the curry goat were so tender they practically melted in our mouths. The atmosphere was incredibly authentic, almost allowing us to believe we'd been transported out of the North Country to the sunshine and salt air of Jamaica. We will most definitely be returning to try out the Red Snapper in the very near future.

Just moved out here with my wife and we were driving around and found this place. We decided to order the jerk chicken, Mac and cheese, oxtail and sweet potato pudding. Let’s just say we WILL be coming back for the rest of the menu! So good, highly recommend!

Just a little bit of Jamaican Heaven. I haven’t been to Jamaica in years but I love the food. We stumbled upon this place just outside of Fort Drum. Service was very friendly and the food was excellent. Jerk chicken sauce was amazing. If you want a good healthy chicken vegetables and rice dinner but with amazing flavor you will be thinking about this place for weeks after.

Healthy, hearty, amazing homemade, slow cooked delicious food. Perfectly seasoned to be complex and flavorful. Loved the oxtail, chicken stew, oxtail gravy and scotch bonnet pepper hot sauce. Great house made beverages. Seriously an amazing gem for the area.

The food was immaculate and Wendy as a beautiful soul. This is the first Jamaican restaurant I’ve went to with great customer service.

So happy we stopped here! We were driving through and looking for a quick bite. Not only is it close to the highway, but it’s fresh, delicious with a choice of homemade juices! Amazing. Service is friendly and food is great! Happy to find this hidden gem!
