Central Park Carousel reviews
6We expect the carousel to be outdoors but instead it is enclosed in a structure. It's not very scenic
This was such a fun addition to our central park day! Definitely a fun ride to make any adult feel like a kid again!
The horses have that vintage wore vibe as it was made in 1908. The cost is $3.50 per person regardless of age however it was a special day and why worry about that when you can relive your childhood while making new memories with the kids? !
Opens at 10 am and closes at dusk. It's a shirt 10-12min walk from the lowered Central Park entrances.
Employees don't want to be there. Seems that they hate their job and that is translated in the service.
The Carousel is really nice. But the hole experience is not good for the people working on it.
So: go. But know that you'll be treated bad and supporting that is the only way to acces to the Carousel.
This old merry-go-round in Central Park is quite significant. It's so American that this old ride still works.
If you come to Central Park, it's a good place to stop by. If you are with children, it would be nice to ride a wooden horse.
It's a fun place to bring your kids, but also a bizarre work of art. The horses are these weird hyper masculine sculptures that really are striking, and then there's the calliope and the circus part of it. It's a really strange blend.
The ride is decently long and comfortable. It's also clean as a whistle.
Carousel of yesteryear
Beautiful carousel rebuilt according to its original plans, located in the center of the Park where admission has a symbolic cost,
The carousel maintains all its splendor of yesteryear, with its wooden horses, its swivel chairs and the benches for parents to sit and watch their children.
Well worth the queue to experience all that this Central Park attraction means
