Central Park Tennis Center reviews
13The best tennis professional in New York is based at Central park. Wilson Jones. A nice place to rent a court
Changing from 5 stars to 1 as the new staff is very rude. They don't have basic manners and try to assert their authority for no reason. Don't see the friendly atmosphere as before
Hi. This year you took all the benches from inside the Central Park Tennis away, I feel you don't want us hanging around. All the older people who used to stay and talk don't even have the benches there to stay inside the club.
We feel unwanted socializing with our tennis friends inside Central Park Tennis. I am sure the tables and benches could be moved back. We would appreciate this if the tables and benches be moved inside like they used to be over the 50 year history of the Central Park Tennis. Please for the sake of history.
By the lockers there is a noisy and smelly red generator that disturbs the quiet and pollutes the air with its diesel.it goes on day and night everyday. It needs to be removed.
Additional photo ID to sign in, besides the season permit which already has a picture. Why?
Yeah, no staff are horribly mean and jerky. Tennis racket are broken, and the the tennis ball is ripped up.
I was very impressed by how big the Central Park Tennis Center is! I think I counted 20 courts plus a few more that’s designated for tennis lessons.
Love coming here. The courts are well maintained and the staff are all friendly and welcoming.
Walked into the shop with 4 ladies in there, 1 being the employee. Doors were opened wide and as I walked all the way in was greeted terribly and told store was shut which took the 4th lady to say and not the other three I walked past. With having no closed sign or doors shut I wasn’t very impressed with this. Employee was rude
What good can be expected from anything run by the city government? The employees are extremely rude. Courts can be randomly shut down with zero messages on the website or even on the fenced gate. I finally tracked down a woman who was supposed to be managing court reservations. She was very annoyed and it took her awhile to turn down very loud music she was playing and take the headset off to tell me with the irritation that the courts are shut down without a timeline to re-open. It's a huge rigamarole to get the permit and then it's a lottery whether you'll be able to play or not on any given day.
Central Park Tennis courts and club house facilities are well maintained and organized. The staff is helpful, friendly and efficient.
Imagine if the worst DMV employees you know were all working for Ellen Degeneres, that’s what it’s like.
You’re gonna wish you voted libertarian.
Great that we have courts in the city. The people at the desk will let you know where to go and give information
