Centre Street Public House and Beer Garden reviews
16One of the best craft beer varieties on tap in Schenectady. Super chill atmosphere and bartenders are also very nice. Great outdoor area for warmer weather.
Stopped by to have lunch and watch football after a hockey game at Union. This place is awesome! Plenty of TV’s, tables and fantastic food. The food was really, really good. Freshly cut French fries, legit wood fire pizza oven, and French onion soup was on point! Great beer selection as well
I have ordered food here a few times and have been consistently pleased. They make a really good burger and my wife loves the Edison Strips. We both enjoy the perogies and pretzels as well.
This place is great. Employees are very friendly and the good is always good. It's clean.
This place used to be great, I don’t know what happened. This is the local bar for all of the trash in the area now. Frog alley and jay st pub are where it’s at.
This is a cool bar in the area with good pricing. The environment is cool, and it has really cool outdoor area. All the food I have tried has all been good as well! Great selection of beers available and all the staff are friendly!
Really not good at all. Fries were undercooked and soggy. It turned out the place ran out of potatoes and therefore was unable to make their fresh cut fries. How does a restaurant run out of potatoes? It would have been nice to know that before ordering.
My buffalo chicken salad was a phoned-in effort at best. Probably 3 oz of sliced chicken atop iceberg lettuce (who still uses iceberg?). There were a few cherry tomatoes and shredded cheddar that came right out of the industrial size 10lb. Cisco bag. The friendly, helpful bartender was the only thing saving this from 1-star. Totally forgettable experience and wouldn’t patronize again.
Super cool place with excellent music and great drinks. I really appreciated all the outdoor heaters. My husband would've preferred regular chips instead of lime on the nachos, but other than that, it was an awesome experience.
Great patio and decent food. Live music is usually good. Bartenders work hard to keep up. Cash only covers is ridiculous. Bring cash or pay the bank an extra cover at te $3.50 ATM. Drinks are very expensive and there is a 4% additional for cards
Nice atmosphere, live bands on the weekends. The bouncers are very nice but also get things handled if/when needed. Drink prices went up but that's the world of this economy for ya.
It was our first time, so happy to say it was good food, good drink at the outside bar.
Kyle was a good bartender and very personable making the drinks exactly as we requested.
Margarita pizza was exceptional, cooked to our liking.
Rhythm Pilots with Antoinette and Patrick and the gang provided great entertainment for the night playing all of the songs to sing along to and dance to.
Met some new friends and all in all a great night at Centre Street Public House
Honestly had a terrible experience here tonight. The male bartender in the inside bar was short with us. He took my order for a vegan impossible burger (subbed for the centre smash burger). And when I received my burger it was a normal burger and the one cook told me that my server failed to put that into their system. Even worse, the male bartender said my total was $43 and gave me $2 back. And when I asked for the bill it came to 42.28–not sure if he just pocketed the change? And lastly, he did not give me a 4% discount for paying in cash. Disappointed to say the least.
We placed the order on a weekday. Picked it up and brought it home and was very disappointed by portion of the food. It was mad little and the price was not worth it at all.
Went here on a Friday night. They have an amazing draft beer selection (2 dozen or more options?), though like most places ithese days it's skewed towards IPAs. Their patio is huge and they have live music too. The only thing that keeps it from being 5* is their menu. I'm vegetarian and my only option is an impossible burger. They're pretty good, but it's always nice to have more than 1 entree option on a menu. That said, their food is much better than it used to be before covid! Regardless I do look forward to my next visit!
Great place to watch all the March Madness games. They feature a huge outdoor patio that was a hit yesterday and always. Great beer selection and lots of other drink options. Stop over and give it a try!
Bland food, small portions, overpriced.
Replying to below - yikes. Serve better food for better prices, get better reviews. Nobody owes you a good review regardless of how honest you are and the food was so exceptionally bad, especially for the price, that it prompted me to go on here and leave one. Maybe work on your menu instead of writing sonnets to customers at 9 on a Friday you weirdo.
