CFC Halal Fried Chicken, Schenectady NY

We are regular customers of this establishment as we have a large family. Today we ordered on the phone as usual however we asked if it could be delivered and they assured us that it could be done. What a mistake we made. First, when the food arrived there were items missing, the most important being the fried chicken. Then the sandwiches didn’t have the correct condiments, if any. The platters were lacking white sauce. So we called to get all of this rectified and had to call twice to check how long it would be as almost half an hour had passed. Usually we have good experiences however this has truly ruined their reputation in my eyes. BE WARNED!

Just stopped in here after a long late night walk home from the club after a few drinks. Figured I'd grab some chicken for when I get home.

I've been here once or twice and the staff is nice but the food is 50/50.

The chicken is fine but I just took a bite of the coleslaw salad they gave me with my 5-piece chicken box and guess what?

It was spoiled. Its brown and fermented.

The mash potatoes are edible but not much better.

I don't think I will go here ever again even if I am drunk.

I live up in Saratoga, and I regularly come to Schenectady just to get this chicken, my kids love it, my landlord up here loves it, it is phenomenal. I just wish there was chicken like this available near me, but its worth the 30 minutes drive to get it.

Just tried this place and really like it. I have tried a couple of things, but so far I like the chicken nuggets the best. They have an eating place but I usually just take it to go. The spicy sauce is good too. It's nice to have halal fried chicken.
