Typical cha chan tang food but surprisingly decent service and reasonably clean bathroom.

Like all of chinatown, bring cash for a discount!

I am fan of the wings.wasn't a fan of the pork chop dishes cause the cut of meats used. I like the noodles, it had a good greasey stir fry taste.
On top of hk cafe food, they also have another menu full of "modern Asian fusion"

This location opens late compared to the rest of Chinatown.

Poor food and poor service! The first time I went there was also the last time. Once and for all.

Cash only here
We had breakfast/brunch and I like it
All meals come with a drink. Can't beat the price.

My friend's favorite was that crispy condensed milk bun! So tasty.
The porridge might be bland for some people, but it reminded me of what I ate in Hong Kong. If you would like a stronger flavor, I would suggest you have the satay beef or tomato beef dishes.
I also like the combination with rice rolls and sesame sauce (note: no meat inside)

There were lots of Cantonese elderly when we went there. I believe these were also what they used to eat in HK and I can tell they enjoyed it

Customer Service is just soso and depends on who is serving.so also very close to Hong Kong not much service but speedy.

This is a Chinese restaurant in Chinatown. It charges 5% surcharge on credit card. There are the Chinese and English menu, the quality is slightly different. We ordered 3 fried rice, the one in a blue plate is on the English menu which is $24 while the one on Chinese menu is $10. To be fair, the one on English menu is better, but like a 2.5x more, which does not make much sense. The quality of dishes is ok, and not much surprised, which can be found easily in other restaurants nearby. One advantage of the restaurant is that it is spacious and does not have many customers.

Cheap and cheerful Hong Kong style cafe by morning… breakfast menu offers crazy value… 19 dollars Inc tip breakfast for two with hot drinks. Good strong HK style tea, macaroni and ham in soup with a fried egg and pineapple buns, and spam and egg with instant noodles.

Absolutely not Americanized restaurant. Authentic Hong Kong style cafe. Milk tea and coffee mixed with milk tea are the best.
No line at all because Cash only.

Great Breakfast spot. Always busy tho. But worth the wait. For American don't expect to be full with just 1 set meal

Below average. Crab tempura was too fishy and tasteless. No spice or flavour. The restaurant wasn’t clean and looked shabby. Expensive for the quality.

It was CASH only! And no sign that it was cash only. Like they said NO credit card, NO Apple Pay! I was in a total pickle when it came time to pay. I literally only had my phone and credit cards on me (not a debit card). Please put a sign up or tell people BEFORE they order, I had to have someone meet me with cash! It was a whole thing. Aside from payment (which is huge) the food, dining room, ambiance and service was really nice. I mean the rice noodle appetizer w/peanut soy sauce was YUMMY. But I’d rather eat at a less nice place that takes Apple Pay or CC at least to avoid a whole fiasco. Sheeeesh.

Mess!

Today I ordered "corn shredded chicken rice" at a tea restaurant, but when I got home, I realized that it was not "chicken shreds" but "chicken nuggets": and I hate eating chicken nuggets cut from the chicken legs with the strings attached;
Although I don’t advocate waste, I really couldn’t eat it: so I threw it away after only a few bites!
I had ordered this rice with shredded corn and chicken before, but when I got home, I realized that it was not "shredded chicken" but "banchu" rice!
It sometimes happens that restaurants make mistakes, but I realized that this restaurant was not making mistakes but being careless and willful!
For example, the "Western Toast" I ordered from them earlier also came with "caramel", but recently they gave me "milk" without asking;
When I ordered "Pork Chops", they also gave me tomato sauce or salad dressing at will: they even gave me a plastic fork and "plastic soup" instead of a "plastic knife". Isn't this rude and willful? !
I would have given them a lower score for this kind of service, but during the epidemic, their business hours were as usual: and once my glasses were so foggy that I could hardly see anything, so they took the initiative to give me a tissue to wipe the fog from my glasses, which earned me extra points.
In terms of food, their "Yang Chow Fried Rice" adds chopped green onion instead of green beans, which is closer to the authentic flavor of early Hong Kong.

I worked here before. Their kitchen was super dirty. If you search on social medias, you will find different people kept posting their experience of getting food poison from this place. I’m not surprised at all depending on what I witnessed here.

Generally speaking, the technique is professional, but unfortunately the creaminess is strong, and the coconut aroma is not obvious, which is a bit disappointingThe portion size feels a bit cheesy, but it is acceptable $9 does not include tax, can come next time
