Chaffee Lodge

Could hear people talking on both sides into the early hours of morning.
Bed linen was old and torn.
Itched all night, even looked for bed bugs early on but must have been detergent allergies.

It's definitely is not the Ritz and I wasn't expecting that, the gentleman manager was very nice and friendly, like talking to an old friend, and very accommodating to our needs, the room was large and beds were comfortable, some maintenance issues, but, nothing that made me feel unsafe, next time I return to the area, I would stay here again.

Not your average "hotel" but super clean and quiet! It was exactly what we were looking for. Only 10 min from Lime Lake! We'll definitely come back!

Was very rude! Had to cancel due to personal reason and he cussed me out and said he was still charging me!

It's a modest place, but the rooms are very clean, the beds are comfortable, and the owner is extremely attentive, friendly and helpful. It's great value for the low price and if we're in the area we won't hesitate to stay there again.

It won't be around because DOH is coming because people were kicked out while they had covid.about to see a whole hotel go into quarantine. I made sure before I left tht all the a holes got wut they deserve there. Very bad place

Friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Our stay was only for 1 night but would highly recommend this quaint place to family and friends.

Nice place, no frills accommodations with freindly host (Scott). Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Basic furnishings with microwave and small fridge. We'd stay here again.

The room stunk of cigarette smoke. The linens were dirty and previously slept on. We slept in our clothes on top of bed because it was 11: 30 p.m. And we had been on road since 7: 30 a.m. The owner lied to me when I made reservations and was rude and nasty when asked why I wasn't informed correctly about 1st floor room and two beds. Horrible experience. I'd give them a "0" if I could.

This is a rare gem we uncovered. The room itself is perfect. Clean, romantic, spacious, hotel amenities, plenty of pillows and comfortable bed. Everything works as it should. Quaint little town nestled away but close to all. Great experience overall. My wife was with me, but I enjoyed my stay anyway ;) ~

One of my favorite places between Buffalo and Bangor to stay a night. Ask someone who works there about the history of the building for a wonderful story you'll remember forever.

I'm going to recommend the owner become more concerned (or at least fake it) with lodgers. It's a kitschy room - not sure it made quaint. If you drive away, even for a short time, you're assumed to have checked out. This doesn't allow for other short term trips. I lost additional money due to throwing out left behinds. Really not happy with that!

A cheap hotel, old and well worn, but I booked on a busy weekend, so paid over $100. For that was told to not use the AC as it was funky, room had a strange smell, mattresses were in serious need of reolacement, bathroom had a old sag carpet (gross when you realized what it had absorbed), towels were bare thin, and not sure what was on the outside of the mattress. So if you stay here, then just realize it might be a little scketchy

Laid back nice and easy to get comfy, always accommodating to most everything, frown apon loud activities, keep urr under 100, good chill spot!

It is the best of all the area's motels. The room was clean, quiet and restful. The manager was very helpful and friendly. I'd stay there again to visit family and enjoy the area. Nice location.

This is an okay place to sleep for the night. Nothing fancy or modern. It has all one would need for a night's rest. WiFi, fridge and microwave were all present and accounted for. Decent size room that was clean. Overall the lodge is small and has seen better days. If you don't want to drive an hour for a brand chain. Give this place a go. There are plenty options for food close by.

Very old or country. Even the towels are colorful (not traditional white). The owner is seriously friendly and accommodating. If your looking for the basic, friendly, country stay then this is a good place to stay. Tim hortons is 2 minutes down the road along with a few stores and gas stations.
