Chai Wala, Queens NY

Tea was perfectly cold and not overly sweet. I ordered the passion fruit drink and it was so refreshing. The place is kid friendly and open, no tight seating or small tables and chairs. One thing that was annoying was entering the store the stairs are too high and makes it tough for strollers to come in and out smoothly.

The following week I ordered from
Uber Eats and they forgot to put straws inside. Such a let down because the drink was so good! Aside from these little things I enjoyed my experience here!

11/5/2023 (UPDATE) : They forgot the straws for 3 of my drinks. DO NOT place order online go in person. Such a let down! Women on the phone said sorry but what the heck! I paid extra to waste all these toppings I added to my drinks. Chai Wala sad to say but Kung Fu has my vote!

Some of the better chai I've had in the NYC area! Stopped for a late night chai on the way home after work and it hit the spot. Cozy spot. Some seating in the front and back.

Staff was very friendly and the bubble teas are amazing. I had the Lychee Bubble tea with mango popping bubbles. It was very delicious and well made compared to every other bubble tea place I’ve tried. The covers on the drinks are very cute and fun as well as the place itself. I look forward to coming back soon. You should really check is place out I highly recommend it!

Nice atmosphere.staff friendly, love the bubble tea, thisntime I ordered crepes, unfortunately the dough texture was very hard and dry.

Chai Tea is Over Priced!
paying $9 for two cups of chai tea.

As a consumer this is clearly reaching.

I had it a few times here and the consistency is not favorable.some days the chai was perfect and some days it was very Watery!

As much as I Love chai tea
I will not return to this place. For inconsistency and Over Pricing.

The Crepes was Delish
The Rose Tea was Delish.

But $9.22 for 2 chai is not in the favor of Any Consumer especially when the consistency isn't there.

Do better.

First time I ever tried a coconut milk tea and now I absolutely love it. Me and my girlfriend really love the bubble waffles. A new customer has been earned I will be ordering more in the future

The "Chai Wala" Bubble Tea was delicious and not too sweet. The drinks are a bit on the pricier side though. The barista let me know how it differs from traditional boba; overall, the staff was very welcoming and didn't rush us even though my group came in near closing time, and the space itself seems perfect for tea time with friends. Definitely have to return and check out the patio in the back!

I went here 2 times. First experience was good. Second experience was not so good. Paratha roll was cold. Otherwise the place is very clean.

Really bad experience. I went in on a Tuesday evening around 8pm and specifically ordered a crepe with strawberry, bananas and white chocolate as I’m allergic to cocoa. They added chocolate on top and I requested one without dark/brown chocolate as I’m allergic and can only eat white chocolate. The second crepe they remade for me, I didn’t look at before leaving. Upon arriving home, I ate the crepe without looking to make sure there was no chocolate. I instantly had a terrible reaction. A waste of $11 and really upset as my allergic reaction could have easily been avoided.

Bubble tea is great, and the vibes here are awesome. Personally think great spot to sit and chill.
Kashmiri tea was not it tho

The bubble tea and the waffles were good, very busy when we came in. Friendly service but one of the staff wasn’t wearing gloves when preparing the food. Like I said, the items were good but thats definitely a put off to see it prepped with no gloves on.

It's very good but the prices are so expensive those people/workers are rich they make prices high but other wise I still like the place but prices need to lowerd.

The worst bubble tea I have ever tasted. I think they called bubble just add some boba on it

Got great experience with this sweet little spot. Waffles and crepes are pretty. Countless option of milk tea and shakes. Definitely good for spending time with friends or kids. Staffs are very nice and friendly. Bright seating with both indoor and outdoor spaces. I recommend everyone!

It's weird how they didn't provide my order with straws or even gave the delivery guy a cupholder. I only ordered drinks and a milkshake. The delivery guy from Uber Eats did wonderfully balancing the drinks to my place, but Chai Wala should've given him (which should've already been included) straws and a cup holder to make his life easier. Delivery guy delivered it to me on a bike and all drinks were still intact. Amazing service from delivery guy, not so much thoughtfulness from Chai Wala.
