Change of Pace Sports Bar, Syracuse NY

How is this place considered to have the best wings in Syracuse? I specifically asked if they make their own hot wing sauce (because if a place charges full price for wings merely shaken in Frank's, then it's insulting), and the guy said it's a bunch of sauces combined. Sounded good to me. Ordered them crispy and saucy, but instead they had barely any sauce at all with a side of-get this-redhot. What is all the hype about?

Great, low-key atmosphere. If you try only 1 thing. The wings! Extra crispy. Bam!

The wings here are phenomenal! Not the moat inviting place when you arrive, but dont let that fool ya! Great food!

Found a better pizza maybe. Found better wings maybe. Under one roof this is the best in Syracuse.

One of the best bartenders I've had in a while. Went on a Sunday early afternoon. Had the wings and they did not disappoint. The extra hot are no joke. My lips and mouth felt like they were on fire. The hot garlic are some of my favorite wings I've ever had.

The food was great. We had wings and they have an incredible selection of flavors to choose from. They also give you a nice big serving of fries. There are plenty of TVs to watch no matter where you are sitting. I will go back again!

I came in from out of town and wanted dinner while watching Sunday night football. I couldn't get a single employee to acknowledge me. They were too busy socializing with their friends and checking their social media accounts. I gave them 10 minutes of my time then took my business elsewhere.

Neither high-end or swanky.just plain awesome. Excellent atmosphere for watching the game. The award winning wings are no joke. Best I've ever had. And as far as bartenders go, Shannon cannot be beat.

Fun local sports bar! Really good pepperoni and sausage pizza! Beers are cold and the staff is great!

Food is always on point. I've never had a bad meal here. Whoever is back there pumping out food is doing good. You can tell they care. Bartenders are friendly, this is a great spot to get wings and a few drinks during a big game.

The food was outstanding! And the service was quick and friendly. I also noticed that the mixologist's there really payed attention to their customers and their well being while inside their facility

New to the area and decided to investigate the area and found this spot. The crowd is a little on the older side but cool atmosphere. Has tables to sit and eat if you want and has more space in the rear. The bartender was friendly, cool and no problem making drink he never made before

They definitely have some awesome wings! The staff there was very nice to us. Friendly and helpful. I will definitely be returning when I'm in area.

This rating is because it's game 6 of the NBA Playoffs and they said the kitchen was closed. Smh so we had to go to Franklin's instead. P. S.we came to change of pace for the food

The Change of Pace is always a good time. The atmosphere is very inviting. The staff are great people. It can get pretty crowded during sporting events, bc it's the place to be. The food is always great. Best wings in the city for sure.

Neighborhood sports bar describes this place well. Good food at good prices decent beer and liquor selection. Reasonably clean and decent service. There isn't anything to complain about, its everything you would want a small local sports bar to be.

The wings are so good that when your full and can’t eat another bite you force yourself because they taste so good.

Wings are excellent. Pizza is bad and they forgot one topping. The bartenders are bytches. Likely won’t go back because of the service although the wings are one of the best.
