Channing H. Philbrick Park reviews
13Great park to get out of the house and walk around during all seasons in rochester. Very nice stream to walk along and can go up or down stream via the hiking path. Always try to bring the dog to get the zoomies out
It was beautiful day and granddaughter and her baby played in park.was not at all crowded.nice peaceful day
It was such a beautiful place! I wish my camera was better but I was able to capture some moments. I visit here 3 times a week. I see many dogs and their owners are very friendly and respectful.
When the salmon are here it is a great attraction for fishing. Many small waterfalls add to hikes.
A great place for walking and enjoying the outdoors. Bring your pets on a lease to walk with you, and please pick up after your pets. Let's keep our parks and special places clean.
Live, laugh and enjoy special places of nature and other things around the county.
Excellent park, nice trails, well maintained. Plenty of wildlife to observe. Some inconsiderate parents and dog owners at times.
Really nice back wood feeling trails for such a center of town park. Swimming area in Creek is a great place to cool off after a long hike. Good size area for picnics get togethers believe there's a gazebo or two.
Love the trails along the water! Bathroom at the bottom of park near small picnicking area, definitely a park bathroom, could use some love.
Regardless, the traiks to the left when you pull in lead to some twisty bridges. Safe, for the most part, not great for people with bad backs or stability issues. Also note that's it's not a very long trail for wheelchairs before the bridges. Less than 1/2 mile.
We rented the shelter for our wedding shower. Great location for a gathering as long as the weather holds up. The stream running through the woods is beautiful.
Came with the kids to enjoy a leisurely creek walk/hike. There was a bit of trash around the main trails and some were overgrown, but otherwise it was a beautiful park.
DEFINITELY NOT STROLLER FRIENDLY. I’m posting this so others know. If your looking to just take a walk this is not the place to with a stroller. Poison ivy everywhere so be careful. Otherwise seems like a fun place.
Beautiful park with a great stream for fishing. Clean, with grills and a pavilion for getting together
Great close up views of a riverbed that your dogs will absolutely love. Not too far out of town either. I plan to come back and try fishing!
