Charles Memorial Park (Gateway National Recreation Area), Queens NY

Amazing beach even at low tide its perfect for little kids the neighbors call the cops every weekend so you might have cops stop bye to make sure no one is drinking

Been going to Charles park for over 30 years. Very peaceful serene and clean. Basketball courts tennis courts and of course to water Jamaica Bay.

Nice park. Beautiful walk way. Needs lot of repair and clean up. Children's park is not good at all. Broken jungle gym not good for children. Schumer forgot about Charles Park!

One of the best parks around this particular neighborhood. It offers a lil bit of everything starting from basketball court, playground and a public tennis court which is a rare find in this area. If that's not enough you can always take a walk or jog alongside the water.

Nice park. The only thing is the children play ground is really in bad condition. A lot of swings mats needs to be replace. I will never bring my child to that playground unless it is repaired.

Vern nice place to chill.used to love going there when i used to live in the Rockaways. The people who go there for fishing purposes doesn't have any regards for the environment which is a shame.

The water view is beutiful and has free parking. Theres a playground right next ti the field. Theres anice view of the water, the bridge, the airport. Its amazing for kids because they get excited for the planes.

The tennis courts were okay, but the basketball courts and every other field or court was great.

Great family park to go to. If you a lover of planes you can see them take off. Good place to walk the dog and exercise.

They really let it go it needs to be redone and fixed up some on the mettle is dangerous and can cut someone on the play grown

Love the view, nice quiet park, no rowdy crowds, easy walk paths, 2 full courts for hoops, even has picnic tables for family outtings. Overall always enjoy coming here with my family.

Gave this place one star because it's a park. Dirty, ball fields aren't fit to be played on, one field has been turned into a dog park, broken glass, broken fences, dead trees.

Today was a beautiful day to be at Charles park. Weather was great. Park is clean. Everyone just having a fun afternoon.

Nice place to do a variety of things not so much for swimming but other then that is a good park.

Somewhat quiet. Not packed full of people. Nice kids playground. There's a beach connected to the park so you can dip your feet maybe even go for a swim. Close to the airport so kids may love to see the planes taking off.

A safe place to exercise, play, walk the dog, catch some rays, meditate and listen to the sea. A beautiful and pristine gift from nature. Nature only asks to pitch in to keep it clean and beautiful. A variety of religious festivities have been polluting the beaches. Please enjoy the beauty but pick up after yourself. God and Nature thanks you.

Great local place to lay in the sun, watch the boats or hang out w your best furry friend. Negative - needs to be cleaner! (because of the human mess left behind)

Great place to.connect to nature on daily base. Also nice to see the planes taking off & land.
