Chautauqua Amphitheater reviews
11It is a special place. Authentically charming in its own serenity. If you want to breathe a piece of mind, then partake of Chataqua Amphitheater.
Great venue! First time attending a concert at Chautauqua Amphitheater. Can't wait to come back especially earlier in the season. A lot of the shops and restaurants were closed for the season but still had a great experience.
Excellent show with Mavis Staples and Trombone Shorty! The mix was a little loud for the space.
Great programs. Sit on the main floor, the seats are padded. First day sat in the upper rows, with no padding, and appreciate the difference.
I went and paid for the Wednesday performance of the Houston Ballet. I paid the same price as Saturday performance. I did not see the high quality that was provided Saturday. Why was the price the same? ? I learned layer Chautauqua dance students were in the performance on Wednesday.really.why isn't that in the description and why not provide a full description. I really wanted to see Ballet and not modern interpretive dance. To stay Saturday I would have had to pay an additional 19$ entry plus an additional 12$ parking. Really felt like an expensive and exclusive place. Not the unifying atmosphere I would have hoped for.
Absolutely amazing in every way! Trombone Shorty, Mavis Staples, the beautiful locale, the warm & friendly staff, the acoustics. The whole atmosphere was magical and wonderful! Amazing!
Came here for Sunday church service. Great atmosphere, comfortable seats, and awesome show.
We saw the accapella singing group, Chantecleer, at the Amphitheater and they were fabulous!
Lectures, music, dance, theatre, book reviews, authors plus golf, tennis, shuffle board, swimming, whatever your heart desires in a gated, beautiful community. Also, classes are available for a day or longer in a wide variety of subjects. No traffic except foot traffic. After 60 years plus attending this magical place I'm still uplifted and blessed after a visit. If food is why you vacation in a certain area, Chautauqua is not the place for you. All else, especially the people who visit Chautauqua, make it a memorable, one of a kind place.
I love this amphitheater! No matter where you sit, you are close to the singer/band. We went to see Sheryl Crowe, and she was fantastic!
