Chaves, Yonkers NY

We have been coming to this restaurant for the last 12 or 13 years. Service is always excellent and the food is the best. No one else can you get a nice steak with rice and french fries.

Great food, but atmosphere was ok. Not a very desirable area. Service was very good. Prices were excellent.

This place is amazing, I always seen this place never paid too much mind of it, until a friend invited us for lunch. Food is excellent. Stakes, ribs, fish, and the wine. The atmosphere is quiet. But the server victor great service, attentive, respectful and courteous. I recommend this place, I can't stop going over there, their portions are not small at all compare to any other place is a gem hidden. Thank you Victor and staff for treating me and my family, like family.

I had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant recently and it was an incredible experience. The steak was cooked to perfection. The service was excellent, the staff were friendly and attentive, and they made sure that our dining experience was top notch. I highly recommend this restaurant for anyone looking for a delicious steak with great service. However, beware of the location - a little sketchy but that doesn't take away from the service or food.

Excellent food in a "not so excellent" location. I'd heard about Tres Chaves for MANY years. I had occasion to go there for a business lunch. I'm glad I did. Great local Portuguese eatery.

Our waitress was excellent, though spoke little English.which was fine and perhaps added to the charm of the place.

The kitchen has a charcoal grill! It made a difference.

The restaurant doesn't present well on the outside. More like a house with a restaurant on the first floor.

Needless to say, our group was pleasantly surprised at HOW GOOD the food was. Everyone enjoyed what they had.

My favorite place in Yonkers. Victor has been there for 27 years and is the only and best server there. The food is flavorful and delicious. If you’re ever in Yonkers, you should pay them a visit. You’ll love it. Ambiance is ok. No music.
