Good value. Tasty. Just misses 5 full.need a few more MPH on fastball to get to 5 stars.
Ordered pickup and the door was locked. No one at the counter, but could see someone in the kitchen.
Cheap and very high quality. Got the chicken (fried chicken biscuit sandwich). It was pretty small so I'd get two things.
Beignets are awesome. Bread pudding is very good but a bit small & it was only partially heated up.
Not to be dramatic but this spot changed the game for me. A hidden budget friendly spot in LES. Everything is home made, including the bread and biscuit used for the sandwiches. I left full, uplifted from the convos, and still had money for the train. Amazing people, dope urban vibes. If you have 20 min, stay and eat, no regrets. Will be back for my future lunch breaks!
Don’t go to the new location, weird starchy vibe in there, food takes forever and tastes not as good as the old place: (
I’ve eaten here twice several months apart and both times the lack of food safety precautions really grossed me out. Not removing gloves between handling food and money, wearing torn gloves to handle raw chicken and then touching other surfaces with them along with cooked food. I really wanted to like this place especially since the staff is all so friendly and hardworking. Please ensure proper food safety especially with an open kitchen in front of customers.
Not what I expected. The chicken sandwich isn't all that. I also had the shrimp sandwich, that tasted a little better. Only reason I'm giving 3 stars is because the service was good.
I LOVE THIS PLACE! This is your local hole-in-the-wall sandwich joint. There’s no signage and it’s covered in graffiti and looks abandoned. I walked right past it 4 times before I finally found it and it was well worth the hunt. Not to be hyperbolic, but this was probably the best sandwich I’ve ever had. I had the short rib, but the pork sandwich sounded amazing too, so I’ll definitely be back to try that. There was no wait and I was in and out for under $10 - almost unheard of in NYC. I just can’t say enough good things.
Love the chicken sandwich the most, but you can't go wrong here. Also great desserts and ginger tea.
Difficult place to locate, you have to look carefully at the storefronts to find it because from the outside it seems permanently closed.once inside, the popular and underground atmosphere takes on its meaning! Don’t worry, it’s clean
The sandwiches are excellent and with fresh produce, originality and the palate has a good time.
The prices are American but as a tourist you eventually get used to it
We tested the buttermilk chicken biscuit and the pulled beef.
Don't be intimidated when you walk in cause the food and service are off the chian worth it. Me and my bestie ordered 3 different sandwiches to share and they were ALL beyond delicious! A definite 10 out 10! You have to go!
This place lives up to to the hype! And better! The chicken sandwich is to die for but the half and half on french bread is 10/10 breakfast sandwich was just ahhhh! Please check them out! P.s. Also VERY budge friendly! All three were only $22 ENJOY!
Love this place, especially when im longing for New Orleans. Staff is incredibly friendly.
What a great place! Delicious food and incredible service. We'll definitely be going back!
Super delicious sandwiches and very affordable. Great options for everyone - veggie, breakfast, or chicken/beef/pork.
The space is small, but they do have one table and bar seating. Service is excellent.
The Cheeky Sandwiches is a bit hard to find but well worth the search. It’s a small restaurant that serves up incredible foods, all with their own spin on southern cuisine. From chicken sandwiches to pork to beignets, wow, this place is incredible. To make it even better, the staff was incredibly kind and welcoming. Thank you! Greetings from Norway!
