I'm from Texas. The first thing I did when I got there was to go to chefs for some spaghetti parm. And they did not disappoint.

Loved it. Had the lunch special. Very nice. It was very busy, but they had the staff to accommodate the lunch crowd. But lunch was Yum-Yum Good. You should give it a try.

October 2021 catering order for 20 people - We recently ordered from Chef's catering. It couldn't have been a more pleasant experience. I placed the order on line which was quick and easy, pickup was great, everything was ready. There was plenty of food and everyone commented on how good it was. I would absolutely order from Chef's again. The only thing I would suggest is a little extra sauce if you are getting a pasta dish.

My 1st time there. I thought the spagetti noodles were to greasy, alittle more color in salad like spinach would make the salad alittle more appealing and nutritious. I love the bread and bowl of sauce

There were some good things Chef's but nothing that didn't involve frying or non Italian food (Alfredo). The "red" sauce or marinara was not good. Only because I hate sweet red sauce. Marinara does not need sugar added. Oh, God the lasagna.was one of the worst I ever had. If this is how Italian food is in Buffalo I will not be going out for it ever again.

Awesome food and service as always. A Buffalo tradition. They also catered my son's Wedding a few weeks ago for 150 people. Food was amazing! Can't say enough on how happy everyone was.

Came in with a group of 5 and waited over an hour after we ordered to get our food. Had to ask another server to check on it since it took so long and the food ended up being served cold like it was just sitting in the back. Also, my penne special had olives with pits in it, which the server was also surprised about since it wasn’t supposed to come with pits. Water was refilled only 2 times and bread took 30 min to come out in the beginning. Instead of apologizing for anything, our server Thomas just walked away after acknowledging all of our problems. The whole 2 hours we were there was a huge waste of time and I don’t recommend anyone else go since their customer service is the worst.

Had the alferdo, it had breaded chicken in it which was weird and the sauce was kinda plain. It's wasn't rich like a alferdo sauce should be.

Best spaghetti parmesan I've ever had! Staff was super nice and David Borenez highly recommends this place so you know it's good!

The last time I had been was 10 years ago for my birthday dinner. It had been great, but I remember us having a difficult time getting in there the following two years because they were fully booked both nights, so we went elsewhere. Once we moved and were not nearby we found a new favorite. That is, until we came back for dinner the other day after being in the area.

One bite and my taste buds were singing the Hallelujah chorus! Oh my God, how did I ever think the Chicken Parmesan from anywhere else was better? ! And the Spaghetti Parm was just as amazing! The portion size of it all allowed for me to enjoy it the next day as well! Come hell or high water, I'm insisting on my birthday dinner from Chef's this year!

Rose, the hostess, was very nice and took us to our table and Joyce, their waitress for 33 years was very gracious and accommodating to our needs she's the best food was delicious

Had Chef's a bunch of times as a catered meal, but this was my first time dining in. Went with some friends and I ordered the Spaghetti Parm and it was delicious! It comes as either small or large size. I had the large. It was sooooo cheesy and I added one meatball just to give it a whirl and that was definitely the right choice. Highly recommend getting this dish. My friend had the Chicken Francaise, which was a breaded chicken dish with lemon and butter. It wasn't as flavorful as I expected it to be (my friend let me have some). Our last buddy is gluten-free and she really enjoyed her spaghetti parm with gluten-free pasta and gluten-free meatballs.

We are so happy to see Chef’s reopening for lunch service. Our food was excellent and identical to before the time they cut operating hours. Best of luck with your reopening!

When we walked in it took us a minute to realize we had to go around the corner, so a sign is recommended for sure. We didn't have a reservation but were seated right away! Our server quickly brought us water and bread & took our order. I got the spaghetti parm & my partner got the lasagna.both were exquisite. The meatballs on my spaghetti were my favorite! Highly recommend for an Italian lovers

CAUTION: HANDED DIRTY PLATES/SILVERWARE DURING PANDEMIC!

Right off the bat when we walked in, there was no one there to greet us. It wasn't until about 10 minutes later someone arrived to show us to our family's seating area. Since there were people in front of us, we waited about 15 minutes to be seated when we already had a party there waiting on us because of this. Already not a great start to dinner. After being seated, at least two of us were handed dirty silverware wrapped up with food noticeably still on them. Not everybody’s plates were clean, either. That was a huge turnoff. I honestly didn't want to stay at that point, but it was for an important event. The bread and spaghetti were probably the worst I’ve ever had at a restaurant. They hardly had any flavor. This will probably be the last time I'll ever go to Chef's. I don't know how you can trust the sanitation of a place that hands you dirty plates/silverware, nor the food. I've been to several restaurants and prior to this, there has never been an issue receiving clean dishes/silverware while eating out. Please get it together, Chef’s! A restaurant should be a clean, welcoming, worry-free environment.

Reservations a must, they were very busy on a Friday night. Food as well as service was top notch. Portions are large so you'll have leftovers. Most of us had Veal Parm. Everyone agreed food was delicious!

We had a reservation so there wasn't a line for us, but for other customers the line was almost out the door. Make sure to have a reservation. This restaurant has some of the best food in Buffalo. I am only giving 4 stars because the bathrooms were not clean.

We went for my birthday. It was great. Service a little slow but the food was fantastic.
We had the special salad and parmed meatballs for apps. They were exactly what you'd expect. I ordered the Irv parmed. It was great. A little spice, cheese was gooey just what I wanted. Huge portion took home half. Heated up pretty good in the oven for a second meal. Definitely worth it.

I've been going here almost every time I visit Buffalo, and I'm never disappointed. Great Italian food. Good date night, or just bringing the family to a nice night out. If you do go, ask for Phyllis (Best Waitress) or Thomas (Best Waiter). Everyone else is fantastic too, but they are my favorites!

How do you expect anyone to eat here when whenever we call to make a reservation they are always not accepting reservations? Ridiculous
