Chelsea Nails, New York NY

I only gave two starts because my pedicure came out nice … requested a dip manicure. I live in NJ, and I had a chipped nail and needed a fix and decided just to do my normal dip. Idk what happened or why I strayed from my normal person: (Less than a week later, my entire set is cracking and chipping. Brutal since dip usually lasts me up to three weeks. Plus, it’s $54! You would think I would get better quality. Super upsetting. Now I have to get them redone.

It’s been a full 7 day week of my regular mani and this is what it looks like. It stayed on super well and my manicurist was very cool with keeping my nails short. Sometimes the nail techs will not be so kind about short nails, but I usually am pretty rough on my hands between cleaning and motherhood. I added one coat of clear polish 2 days ago and have been scrubbing dishes recently, so I do expect the mani to start showing wear and tear.

They have an incentive program (stamp card).

Will book again. I originally visited like 15 years ago and the space has been nicely upgraded since then!

Great spot for male pedicure. I love that this placed has a beautiful second floor corner lot so it’s floor with light from all the windows. It’s large and spacious room and doesn’t feel cramped. Makes the experience all the more enjoyable. Pro tip: bring cash for the Tip. They appreciate that.

I’ve been here a couple of times and the staff goes above and beyond to make me comfortable. I usually get a pedi/mani when and they take their time making sure your nails are looking great. I appreciate all the little details here.

Best French manicure in the neighborhood. Look no further than chelsea nails. It’s so worth it and the atmosphere is calm and clean.

Truly one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had when getting my nails done in the city. Forget about customer service, they want you in and out as soon as possible - whether you’re happy or not.

This nail salon is fantastic! Clean space, the staff is so friendly, and great service. I recently tried the Essie twist bottle (supposed to stay on longer than reg polish) and the polish actually stayed on without chipping. I’ve also tried their gel manicure and a regular manicure. Great spot!
